Once we got to the locker room doors, it took 3 minutes to pry Tyler off of Erin so we could get into our gun uniforms. We said that we would meet them on the other side of the girls locker room. Tyler said, "ok babe, try not to miss me so much." He winked at her then Ashton pulled him into the boys locker room.
Tyler noticed how red Ashton was so he asked, "what's wrong dude? You look like a tomato."
"Really?! I haven't noticed!" Ashton said with a sarcastic time.
"Bro, seriously, what's wrong?" Tyler asked concerned. "You can't tell anyone" Tyler nodded, telling Ashton to continue.
"Well, you see, it's Megan." He said looking at the floor.
Confused, Tyler asked, "What about her?"
"I've never told you this before but, I like her...a lot! I can't help but smile when I see her or when we text or when we hang out. I've liked her for a few years but I've kept it a secret. I don't want her to know because I feel like it could jeopardize our friendship." He finished.
Tyler kept quiet, trying to understand everything that his best friend just told him. He was shocked. He honestly didn't know how he felt about his girlfriends best friend. He finally broke the silence. "Dude! You have to tell her!" He said, rather loudly.
Ashton told him to "shush." Then spoke. "I can't" "why not?" "I don't want to jeopardize out friendship. She's so beautiful and I don't know how or why she would want me."
"Well, you're going to have to tell her before prom." Cameron noted.
"Yeah I know. And I will." Ashton nodded.
"Good!" Tyler said, giving Ash a pat on the shoulder..
