We started walking back to the boys when I was looking for Jarrid. I can't believe I lost him. "Where could he have gone?" I asked myself. We caught up with the rest of the class and Mrs. Favale told us what we were going to do today. She was everyone favorite teacher and told so many jokes. No one took her seriously.
She was going through the class list to take attendance.
"Sally...Jessica...Erin...Ashton....Jarrid..."
I froze. Did she just say 'Jarrid' ? Erin nudged me and I blushed. I turned bright red when he looked at me.
"Megan...Megan...MEGAN!"
I jumped when Mrs. Favale called me name. "Here" I said trying to hide my rosy cheeks.

"Was I really staring at him?" I asked Erin while we were playing volleyball with Tyler and Ashton.
"Yes you were" Erin said giggling.
"We're going to win!" Ashton shouted over the loud noise in the gym, interrupting our conversation.
"Oh no you're not!" I exclaimed. He just winked at me and I laughed.

"How could they beat us?" Tyler asked shocked.
"Maybe because we play volleyball?" Erin said jokingly.
We laughed then went to change. Once we got dressed, we left to go to anatomy.
