"What's wrong?" I started getting nervous. "You don't know?" My dad asked me. "Know what?" I was freaking out now. 'Did one of my family members die?' I asked myself. "Ashton and his family are moving to New York because his dad got a job offering. Their moving a week after graduation." my mom said. I froze. "You're kidding right?" I asked, hoping they were. My mom shook her head. "Sorry Meg, Mrs Fletcher called us while you guys were at the movies." my dad said. My heart broke. Why wouldn't Ashton tell me this? I was so furious; so many thoughts were going through my mind. "I'm sorry sweetie." my mom said trying to reassure me. "It's ok, I'll be fine. Besides, graduation isn't for another month." I put on a fake smile them got up and said goodnight. I locked my door and started to cry.

'Why wouldn't he tell me?' 'did he think I would break up with him?' all these thought went through my mind. I was a mess. I cried myself to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about my boyfriend, my best friend, moving away. To New York. The thought was too much to handle. I ended up falling asleep to the sound of me crying.

"She's been in there all day" I heard my mom say outside my like door. "Ok, I'll try to talk to her." Erin said. "You're not going to get in Er- how'd you get in?" I asked shocked. "Bobby pin" she replied holding a bobby pin in her hand, then she closed the door again. "What's wrong meg?" she asked sad then opened her arms and gave me a hug. I started to cry. "What? I can't hear you over all the crying" she said, wiping a few years from my face. I took a few deep breaths then spoke. "It's Ashton." Her face dropped. "Oh no did he break up with you?" "no worse" "how could it be worse?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. "He's...he's...he's..." I stuttered. "He's what Megan?" "he's moving! to New York!" I started to sob again. "Awe I'm so sorry Meg." she said. "And the thing was, we went out last night and he didn't tell me!" I was a crying mess. "What if he doesn't know he's moving?" Erin said, trying to make it seem like it's not his fault. I felt so stupid again."you're right" I said as I wiped tears away. "Thanks Erin." "no problem. Now how about we go to the store and get Ice cream and then we watch a Ton of Disney movies together." in nodded in agreement. "Mom, Erin's spending the night." I yelled. "Ok"

It was Sunday and Erin and I went to her work. The coffee shop is close on Sundays so I didn't have to work. Erin only needed to get her check. She works at the stables and teaches kids how to ride and learn about horses. Once we got her check, we headed to her house to get her things. We then went home.
