Chapter 29 (Last Chapter)

3 days passed and I was getting nervous. College starts in 2 days! I'm excited and nervous. I think it's going to be hard for Erin tho. After the whole break up everything got awkward. He was still mad but she didn't care. Neither did I. I had noticed his sudden change in attitude and Ashton noticed as well.

BUT...today is a new day. I needed to start packing for college. I'm really going miss my home. I've lived here since I was born. I'm going to miss all the memories made here. But then again, I'm going to make new memories at my college. Maybe even...my thoughts got interrupted by my mom yelling at me from downstairs. I got off of my bed and headed downstairs.

"Yeah? I asked when I got downstairs.

"I made lunch" she said. "Yay!" I exclaimed like a little kid.

She made Mac n cheese with dinosaur chicken nuggets. Yes. Dinosaur! What? can't an 18 year old girl get excited about Mac n cheese with dinosaur chicken nuggets? I mean come on. Their dinosaur shaped! how cool is that?!

"So, you know you leave for college in 2 days right?" my mom asked.

"Yeah I know" I replied.

"Are you excited?" my dad asked.

"Honestly, yes. I mean I'm going to miss you guys but I'm going to my dream college. I'm also taking classes to be a pediatrician." I answered, taking a bite of my dinosaur chicken nuggets.

"I remember when you were 3 and kept saying how you wanted to help people get enter. Then when you were twelve, you said you wanted to be a pediatrician. Now you're going to college to be what you wanted. I'm so proud of you," my mom said then gave me a hug. She started crying.

"Mom, it's going to be ok," I said reassuring her.

"I know but my baby is going to college!" she exclaimed. I wipe a tear that fell from her eye.

"Mom, it'll be fine. I'm a big girl," I smiled and she chuckled.

"But always remember, I'll be your baby forever," I said.

"Forever," she repeated.

I walked up to my room and turned my computer on. I put pandora on and the song 'Catch Me' by Demi Lovato started playing. And I started singing.

•2 days later •

"I know. I love you too. bye!" I said and hung up.

"Who was that?" Erin asked me.

"My mom," I answered. We both laughed.

"I can't believe were going to be starting college today!" Erin exclaimed.

"Moving in today," I retorted. She rolled he eyes at me and said, "whatever." I just chuckled.

It was now 11:11 and i picked her up at 11.

"Make a wish! it's 11:11!" Erin exclaimed. A few moments passed and then Erin spoke again.

"Ok, I made my wish," she said.

"Me too," I replied. She smiled.

"Whatcha wish for?" she asked.

"If I tell you it won't come true," I said. She just rolled her eyes.

"OMG! I love this song," Erin yelled and turned up the radio and of course, started singing.

I laughed at how badly she sang. But she thought she was amazing.

When the chorus started, I sang along too.

"I knew you couldn't resist" Erin said smirking.

I just rolled my eyes and kept looking out the window.

A few more songs later, we arrived at the college. We were greeted by a really preppy girl.

"Hi guys! you must be new here!" she said jumping up and down. "I'm Avery." The girl said.

"Hi. I'm Megan and that's Erin," I replied pointing to myself and Erin. "And yeah, were freshman," I answered her previous question.

"That's right! the head master told me you'd be arriving today! well I hope you have a great day today! I'll see you guys later," Avery said then walked away.

"Ok. Too much preppy-ness," I said. Erin laughed and nodded her head in agreement.

We walked in our dorm. We had been bringing in boxes for about half an hour.

"I'll be right back, I'm going to get the last box. I'm leaving the door open," Erin said.

I said okay and she went to get the last box.

A few moments later I heard a knock on the door.

"Hey," the voice said.

I froze in my tracks. Could it really be him? I turned around slowly.

"Jarrid?"
