Chapter 22

Graduation is tomorrow. Erin and I went to go get manicures and pedicures today. We went later in the day. So the rest of the day we went to ye mall and got a bunch of useless things, like normal girls do. I got a text from Ashton. He knows Erin and I are hanging out today. "What does it say?" She was curious.

hey Megan, Ty and I are going to dinner, bring Erin with and meet us at Olive Garden around 8:30, we have good news ;) see you there. Love you xx

I read. "I wonder what the 'good news' is." Erin said. "We'll just have to find out tonight" I replied. We walked into the nail salon and all I could think about was tonight.

"Thank you" I said as I handed the woman a tip for doing my nails. We payed then got into the car. "What do you think their good news is?" I asked as Erin started the car. "I don know, but it must be good" Erin said.

We walked into Olive Garden and found the boys. They got a booth. Erin and cam say together while Ash and I say together. "So..." I started. "What's the good news?!" Erin asked extremely anxious. "Well" Ash started, giving Tyler a look. "I'll go first" Tyler said. We all looked a Ty. "I got accepted into University of Illinois." we tried our hardest not to scream, instead we screeched, earning a few looks from people around us. "Nice job" I said. "Thanks." "oh my god! that's amazing baby! I'm so happy for you! maybe you'll be close to our dorm" Erin said smiling and hugging Ty. "How do you know you're getting a dorm with Megan?" Ash asked. "Because my aunt is one of the people who decide who gets what form room" Erin answered with a 'duh' expression. "Oh."

I looked at Ashton and grabbed his hand. He started. "Well, you know how I was moving to New York?" Tears were threatening to spill. I had forgotten he was moving soon.

"Yeah" Erin said looking concerned. "Well I'm not moving!" he finally said. I froze then realized he wasn't leaving!" I started to cry; happy years. I hugged him then kissed him. "Yay!" Erin said. "I'm so happy" Ash said, smiling at me. "Me too" I said and kissed him again. "Oh, I almost forgot something" Ashton said. What could it be? "megan, I have something for you." he said. "What is it?" I asked. "Megan," he started as he pulled a black box out of his pocket. "I love you so much. I hope you know that. No matter what life throws at us, I want to be yours" he opened the box. "A promise ring?" I asked unsure. "So what I'm trying to say is, will you be mine? Forever?" he asked smiling ear to ear. "Forever" I said. He wiped away the few tears that had fallen then kissed me. He put the ring in my finger and I smiled. The rest of the night was perfect.
