As soon as we got in my house, we turned music on. Then Erin brought up Jarrid.
"How was the kiss?" Erin asked excitedly.
"It was only a kiss on the cheek"I replied laughing. As soon as I said that, I got a message.
"Jarrid?' I mumbled, but Erin heard it.
"Ohh! What does it say?" Erin asked, almost screaming.
"He said, 'hey Megan so um, I was wondering if you want to get fro yo tonight? -J xx'." I read aloud. I kept rereading the message.
"Why would he ask me on a date? He's the captain of the soccer team. He could have any other girl. Why me?" I asked Erin, my eyes still glued to the message.
"He said it himself, your beautiful" Erin replied. "Are you going?"
"Honestly, I don't know." I said shyly.
"WHAT?! you're going, even if that means I have to take you there myself!" She shouted. I laughed at her, the fact that she actually would drag me out of my house to go on this date. That's what best friends are for, right?
"Okay, I'll go. But what am I going to wear?"
"Hmm.." She started walking around my room. "What about," she thought for a moment before she pulled something out of my closet, "wear your red tank top, leather jacket and leather pants. Then wear your triangle earrings and studded bracelet" she said as she pulled my outfit out of my closet.
I tried my it on and said "perfect." Erin smiled then said, "but there's just something missing."
"What?" I said confused.
"You need your hair and make up done!"

We walked into the bathroom and plugged in the straighter and took out all the make up. "I trust you" I said as she had the mascara in her hand.
"I know and you'll look great!" She said. She applied the mascara then black eyeliner and finally a light brown eyeshadow.
"I'm done " she smiled, "wait! Don't look in the mirror yet!" she wailed.
"Ugh, ok" I replied annoyed. She had straightened my hair then pulled back my bangs into 3 black bobby pins. "All done!" I looked in the mirror.
"This is amazing!" I said and hugged her. "Thank you!"
I looked in the mirror again. She did a really great job. The cat wing makes it look even better. While I was looking in the mirror, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
