I personally prefer Harry Potter to Twilight, so if a Twihard reads this, do not be offended by my favoritism. Also if you are a Twihard, please read my section on vampires just so you k ow why I personally can't stand Stephenie Meyer's.
Some of you may remember that I said I've never watched any Twilight movies. Well, that's changed. (I'm working on the Harry Potter movies, too, there's just a few more of them).
Here were my thoughts about the movies.
Okay, so you know how Dan, Rupert, and Emma weren't Oscar-worthy when they first started back when they were eleven? I mean, okay, but not dazzlingly awesome? That's how the acting was. I mean, I get it when it's three eleven-year-olds. But these are adults! Shouldn't their acting be a tiny bit better? Rob Pattinson was the best actor tbh. And I'm not even saying that because I'm biased towards Harry Potter. I couldn't stand his character and most of the time I was just thinking, why did you have to sully your reputation with these movies?
Half the time they were in the sunlight, they didn't bother to add sparkly special effects. They literally only included them when they had a conversation about sparkling.
Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had the same faces for most of the film, only different when 1) Bella was arguing and 2) Edward was smiling. For the faces, look below.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. BELLA HAS NO PROBLEM WITH SOME DUDE SHE BARELY KNOWS WATCHING HER WHILE SHE SLEEPS!!! That is not okay.
It was a bit funny, at some point Edward and Bella were talking about how much she wanted to be a vampire (what else did they talk about? Oh, right, how evil werewolves were, love, and keeping Bella safe), and Edward said that nobody who was smart would become one. Or maybe it was talking about how much she loved Edward and he said she'd have to be an idiot to love him. Something like that.
The cgi baby was CREEPY.
As soon as you become a shape-shifter, you have anger management issues.
Jasper's character had some continuity troubles. When Bella was bleeding in multiple places from James in the first movie, he was able to ignore her while they were in the same room, and kill (and dispose of) James. She got a paper cut at her birthday party and he flipped out and had to be restrained by two people. When she's trying to fool the newborn army, she leaves her blood on trees and such, and it freaks the newborns out, but not Jasper. When she's giving birth to Renesmee, he has to leave.
Alice is the best character and you never even get any backstory! I mean, you get all bases covered in Harry Potter, but in Twilight, the best character you know almost nothing about.
In all, the movies were pretty terrible and I don't want to watch them ever again.
