Here are some of my favourite Harry Potter characters. Please be respectful in the comments.
Hermione Granger
Being nerdy, introverted, somewhat intelligent, and bookish, I can relate to Hermione quite a bit. I am most similar to Hermione out of all the characters in the books. She is smart and basically keeps Harry and Ron safe in Deathly Hallows. So please, please be good to her in fanfics. Whether it's Romione or Dramione, please keep her character good. And for the love of all that is good, do not wrote a Snamione fanfic.
Luna Lovegood
Weird and dreamy, Luna Lovegood is intelligent (she's in Ravenclaw) but has her head stuck in the clouds. She is a loyal friend and an amazing Quidditch commentator (although Lee Jordan will always be the best). I relate to her quite a bit as well, just because I am so weird.
Professor Minerva McGonagall
McGonagall is a badass. I didn't like her much until book 5 when I originally read it, but now I love her in all the books. She is strict but fair. And she is a sass master. WOULD YOU LIKE A COUGH DROP, DOLORES?
Lee Jordan
Okay, I know he doesn't have a huge part to play in the books, but Lee Jordan is amazing. If I were more confident, he would be my spirit animal. Aside from being the best friend of the Weasley twins, he is the best Quidditch commentator in history. Move over, Ludo Bagman!
Sirius Black
He is an amazing character. He seems confident, but was insecure. All that he wanted to do, he felt he failed in. Snape didn't help at all. (Yes, I was torn over "always," but we need to consider all deeds. He was an absolute a**hole to Sirius.)
Fred Weasley
Okay, who doesn't love Fred? He was a wonderful character. Although a prankster, he was caring. He was funny and wonderful and when I was reading PoA for the first time, I remember my six-year-old self telling my older sister that I liked Fred better than George. WHY, ROWLING? WHY?
These are some awesome characters. Of course, all of the characters are awesome (sans Umbridge), but these are my special favourites. Comment yours!
