Tail straight up swaying toward and back: Angry, disliking
Tail straight up and twitching: Excited
Tail slightly raised: Unsure, or non-threateningly
Tail at normal height: Friendly, not fearful or aggressive
Tail lower slightly and hooked: Defensive and aggressive
Tail straight up and hooked: Friendly
Tail curling around sides: Worried
Tail hooked and twitching: Alert, interested, playing close attention to
Tail hidden under legs: Submissive, afraid
Tail swaying: Annoyed
Tail's fur standing and straight up: Angry and afraid
Tail's fur standing and tail limp: Aggressive and angry
