Nightmares

~ 11 ~

• Izzy's POV•

Darkness surrounded me and I didn't like it. I felt like I was a feather floating in the wind, but my head felt as if it was full of rocks. I'm still wearing my outfit from this morning but something was different. I look at my arms and lift up my sleeves carefully, scared to see what his underneath. Blood is oozing out everywhere, but I feel no pain. Tears come one after the other and I'm screaming. My ears ring and my chest and lungs burn. I scream again, but hear nothing. I drop to the floor, pulling my knees to my chest. The darkness around me doesn't change. I feel like if sat here for hours, days YEARS! Ok maybe not years but still! It's been awhile. I'm laying on the floor at the point completely giving up and start drifting to sleep. Everything starts to shake and I try to stand but I can't. I go back to the way I was before with my knees to my chest and let all of my emotions out. "This is it" I whisper to myself closing my eyes tight. I hear voices calling my name. They come louder and closer. An annoying buzzer comes into play and I want it to stop. I cover my ears and scream. Everything stops and brightness blinds me and I groan in pain, rubbing my eyes. I feel sweat everywhere and I realize I'm still in my room not locked in darkness! "Iz" I hear someone whisper. I blink a few times and finally my eyes focus. Bailey is picking out clothes from my dresser and Theo is at my side looking concerned. I hear the buzzing from my alarm clock and I hit it in annoyance. " I just had the worst dream ever" I croak. Theo's eyes widen. "Really? So it wasn't only me!" I hear B mumble a same as she continues going through my clothes. "I'm glad your ok" Theo smiles. I knit my eyebrows together in confusion as to what he meant, but when I look down I see he's playing with my hands. My cheeks start to burn and my hands start to tingle from his touch. I hear my phone go off and almost fall out of my bed. They both laugh and I remove one of my hands from Theo's and grab my phone. I answer the FaceTime call and my brothers big head appears on the small screen. "Hey kiddo!" He says smiling from ear to ear. "Hey! How's New York?" "It's great! Can't wait to see you, B, Tay, and Theo this summer!" I hear a high pitch laugh in the back round. "Who's that?" I laugh and Bailey comes running over while Theo moves closer to my side to see. "Haha you'll see in a month" he grins. His eyes widen and looks back at me real quick. "Gotta go! Be good! Take your meds! Love ya!" And with that he hangs up. I laugh and throw my phone next to me. Theo takes my other hand again and a shiver goes down my spine. We both giggle looking at each other. "Here" Bailey throws fresh clothes at my face and they fall onto my lap. "Ow" I say scrunching my nose. Theo laughs. "Come on slut we have school" I roll my eyes and get out of bed heading to the bathroom. "Don't break anything" I say and clothes the door behind me.
