Lucy's POV
"Gabby I'm serious,I can't find it in my room,so we better god damn find it in my closet" I yell.
Here I was searching every place in my room looking for the ring Brennan had got me on Valentine's Day,I had clearly misplaced it and now,I have no clue where it could have gone.
"Lu,there's nothing but clothes,shoes,bags,and empty boxes?"she questions the last the part.
"Why do you have empty boxes?"I shrug even thought she couldn't see me.
"I've thrown a lot of things"she laughs
Groaning as I flop down beside my bed,leaning against the side of it.
"Maybe you should just call him,I'm sure he'll understand"Gabby says coming back into my room.
"Yea sure"I roll my eyes
"He's Brennan,I mean the only he's ever gotten mad at is Brent and Megan,so"she shrugs sitting beside me,holding out my phone
As I slowly grab for my phone his name and picture of him and us show up.I sigh,pressing accept
"Lucy?"his voice rushed
"Uh yea what's up?" I question
"I need some help at the baseball field at school.Like now" he rushes out again.
"okay yea,I'll be there in ten"
"Alright,sweet" he says
"Wait,Brennan"
"Yep?"his voice less rushed now that I had grabbed his attention
"Love you"I mumble
I can only imagine that he's running a hand by his hair and smiling into the phone.
"And I love you"I smile,pressing the end button.
It was our thing to not say too at the ends of our I love you's.
"Well come on Brennan needs you"Gabby says pushing herself off the floor and brushing off the imaginary dust.
I nod.

I squint at the scene in front of me.
Their Brennan stood,looking healthy as ever.
At least three boys from the baseball team were standing behind Brennan,holding white bristle boards,obviously from the nearest dollar store.And at the end of the line Brent was sending me a huge smile.
"Here Lu,catch"Brennan yells finally noticing my presences.I squint even harder as I see he's wearing a suit,the same suit from the sports banquet a few months ago.
I catch the small white rectangular box,he had thrown at me.
I give Brennan an odd expression as he walks towards me.
He wraps his overly large hands over my tiny ones compared to his.He slowly opens the box.
I gasp as it reveals my ring,he had given me on Valentine's Day.On the box lid,it read,
Will u be my
Princess,
And go to
Prom with me?
I look behind him,over his shoulder.Seeing the boys and Brent holding up the white boards with a letter on them.Spelling out prom.
I nod,to shocked to say anything.
"I'd love to,my prince"he whisper as he slips the ring onto my finger and pulling me close to his body.
"That has a great ring to it"he whispers,his lips slightly gliding against mine.
I smile up at him,wrapping my arms around his neck.He pulls me into a passionate kiss.
Couldn't have thought of a better way of being asked to prom.

Shortest chapter we've ever written,but it's cute and straight to the point.
