Lucy's POV
Today was the day, Gabby and I have been dreaming of this day since grade 2. Prom. Seems like yesterday I just graduated from senior kindergarten. I hear my phone buzz to life and see Gabby's picture. I pick it up and answer
"Hey, you here?"
"Yea come on out." I end the call and grab my purse, running out the door into her car.
"Can you believe it, Lu? Today we are going to become princesses." I laugh.
"Can't believe it at all. Just time slowed down. After all this, we might never see each other again." Gabby looks over at me and punched me in the arm. "Hey! What was that for?!"
"No one doubts our friendship. I promise Lu we will stay friends." I give her a little smile and we start to drive to our hair appointment.
-----
3 hours later, Gabby and I have our nails done and hair on fleek. I got mine in a nicely flattering bun and Gabby had elegant curly updo. We were in my house to get into our dresses and wait for our dates.
"Ok breath in," Gabby breath in heavily and I zip up her dress. She exhales and pats her stomach.
"Oh jeez. Remind me tonight to not eat too much." We chuckle and now it's my turn to put on my dress. I slip it on from the bottom and put the straps on. Gabby takes the buttons from the back and button it up. "Ok, perfect." We look into the mirror and gasp at each other.
"Aw Gabby, we look-"
"like goddesses." We both look behind us to see Brent and Brennan with their mouths open. I blush. The boys were both wearing tuxedos but Brennan was wearing a tie and Brent had a bowtie.
"Well, you boys look like handsome princes from a fairytale." Gabby states I nod. They both blushed and walked towards us, both holding corsages. Brennan took the corsage out of the box and look up at me smiling.
"May I?"
"Yes you may." He tied the Rose to my wrist. "Aw Brennan it's beautiful." He smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Glad you like it." I look over at Brent and Gabby and she got a corsage with roses. Gabby looked over at me and I give her a smile and a thumbs up.
The boys escorted us to our car which happened to be a limo. I tried to tell Brennan that was over the top and too much money but he waved me off and told me it was my special night. After jamming to One Direction in the car we pull up into our prom hall's parking lot. Our limo driver stops at the entrance where there is a arch decorated with stars and underneath there was a carpet with lights as a guide way.
We walk through couple by couple and as soon as we enter the hall, it is wonderful. I never thought our prom would be so pretty.
