They both turned beet red, "how much did you hear?" Garroth asked.

"Not much," I shrugged, "but I think I understand the situation. Not completely, just partially,"

"Aphmau, I am so tempted to kiss you right now," I heard Garroth speak.

"And why don't you?" I questioned.

"I already got my kiss for the day. Even though it was under nasty circumstances, it wouldn't be fair to Laurence," he was blushing even harder than before.

"Well then you'll be glad to know that I kissed her when she came back from her talk with you," Laurence smirked.

"Y-you what?" Garroth's eyes widened, "I thought we were playing fair,"

"Alls fair in love and war," his smirk grew in size.

They were glaring at each other. Garroth looked like he was ready to punch a wall and Laurence seemed as though he just wanted to get under Garroth's skin. I really hated getting in between their friendship. Garroth got up and wrapped his hand around my wrist, dragging me far from the small opening we were at. Where he was taking me I had no clue, but I let him drag me along.

He took me quite a long distance away until finally we stopped. He pushed me up against a tree and wrapped his arms around my waist. Instinctively I snaked my skinny arms around his neck. He was leaning his forehead against my own and I could see the traces of a blush and a shy smile. The one he would always wear when he was nervous. Was he doing this to prove a point?

"Aph," he whispered making me shiver, "I can't lose you,"

"You won't, I won't let it happen," I smiled and with that he smashed his lips onto mine.

It was a lustful kiss, I could tell because of the force. He was slowly biting my bottom lip while moving our bodies closer together. My hands went up to his hair and I was clutching it like my life depended on it. After 30 seconds or so we pulled away for a breath and I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks at an incredibly fast pace.

Garroth was blushing as well, "did Laurence ever kiss you like that?" He gave a breathless chuckle.

I shook my head and looked down only to have his hand make me look back at him.

"May I?" He asked politely, the shy smile returning to his face.

I nodded my head slowly. And with that his lips were holding mine captive once more. I found it strange how the instant our lips touched all of my embarrassment and shyness seemed to disappear. It appeared that the same occurred with Garroth. He didn't seem like his usual shy self. He licked my lips asking for permission to deepen the kiss. I gently opened my mouth allowing him entry. But before anything more could happen the ground shook. I fell to the ground and found Garroth laying on top of me. His eyes widened but he didn't make a move to get up.

"U-umm, we should probably go check that out?" I said it more like a question.

He sighed, "Y-yeah we should,"

We got up and began walking towards where everyone else was. I saw Zoey holding onto Lilith while Dimitri clung to her leg. I saw Kiki with the animals she had brought along. Apparently she was trying to calm them down. I saw Aaron and Laurence, both of them had their swords out and Laurence was in his shadow knight form. I was at a loss of words. Everyone looked shaken up, but I felt as though everything was fine. Great even.

"Garroth," I heard Laurence shout, "were did you take Aph? I was worried sick!"

Garroth blushed more than ever, "I umm,"

"I showed him the ruins, I thought maybe he could be of some assistance with figuring out what it all meant," I shrugged trying to control the blush that was slowly creeping up my cheeks.

Me and Garroth had nearly made out. Me and Garroth had nearly made out. Me and Garroth had nearly made out. No matter how many times I repeated what happened in my mind, it just didn't seem real. Everything that had just happened felt like a faraway dream. And I wanted more of it. I wanted to fall back asleep and finish my fantasy.

"-to explore, Aph are you listening to me?" I snapped to attention.

"Sorry what?" I said after returning from my daze.

Laurence sighed, "I said Aaron, Garroth and I should go to the ruins to explore the underground passageways. It may lead to answers on all the strange things that have been going on,"

"I wanna go too!" I heard someone yell.

"Kiki?" Kiki wanted to help with a mission as dangerous as this?

"I have the Magicks that allows me to communicate with animals. Believe it or not they have some information that is inaccessible to people, I might recognize something from one of their stories," she smiled brightly.

"Wow Kiki, that's brilliant!" I wrapped my arms around her and she did so as well.

"We should go," I heard Laurence command the others, "it'll be getting dark soon,"

"Right well, why don't we stay one more night and then we set out?" Aaron proposed, "it would really increase our chances of we had full stamina, mental capability and enthusiasm,"

I nodded, "that would probably help you guys,"

I caught sight of Garroth staring at me. He smiled and looked down a his feet. I retained the urge to go and tackle with a hug. I dont know what is going on today, but I like it.

"Goodnight everyone," said Kiki following with her cheerful giggle.

"Night," Aaron waved and went into his tent.

I was left alone with Garroth and Laurence. I stared at them both. Garroth was the sweet one who hid his feelings but when he spoke them it was one hundred percent pure. Laurence was the one who never hid his feelings, never, he always spoke his mind in the most romantic way while making sure he didn't make a fool out of himself. How was I supposed to choose?

"You must've made up your mind by now, right?" Asked Laurence.

I looked between the two and shook my head. It wasn't that easy, "no, not yet,"

"I think you know Aph," Garroth smiled.

"Maybe, but if so my mind refuses to accept my heart,"
