GUYS I ALMOST GOT MY FIRST KISS

Why do I say almost? Well, I'm an idiot.

So basically this guy who said he loves me was planning on giving me my first kiss so that my first kiss wouldn't be a staged one, because the play I'm in I have to kiss someone, so my friends decided they'd LITERALLY DRAG ME DOWN THE HALLWAY TO MEET HIM

Now, I would've kissed him. But my enemy, his best friend, was standing there. Watching and giggling.

So I.....

Bolted away as fast as possible and tried to hide my blushing face.

Yeah, I'm an idiot.

This is the guy I like who likes me back, and I wouldn't do it.

And it's not only cause there was an idiot watching, it was because I couldn't. A first kiss should be magical, and special, not forced because some idiotic friends decided they wanted it to happen so they forced it. I wasn't m first technical kiss to be something I'll remember. Not something that I do just because.

And if my first technical kiss is staged

Then there's no stress. I don't have to worry about pressure or anything, it's simple. And then my actual first kiss off of stage will be magical because I'll know what I'm doing.

This might sound cliché, but I do want my first kiss to be like a movie, or in a fanfiction. The guy says something sweet, leans closer, his voice becoming smoother and softer, our noses touch, I feel a spark, and then a kiss.

But life isn't a movie or a fanfiction. Unless we all live in some universe where we are in a fanfiction.

Or we're in a book, and every time we forget what we're going to say it's just our author backspacing.

I'm gonna go with that.
