Kirstin's POV

As I arrive at the bus stop I do not see any of my friends from last summer. I guess with all the changes they did not want to come back, I get it. I wonder who I'll be partnered with on the bus. There are so many people here. There is this really pretty brunette with glasses who seems like she might be able to help me find out my seat and partner.
"Hi I'm Esther what's your name?" She said, it was almost a little to peppy for me.
"I'm Kirstin Maldonado..."
"Great, let me see who you are with..." she looked up and down the list a couple times. "Kirstin, you are with me in seat 5a"
"Thank you" I replied. Ugh. 5a, the front of the bus. Just where I don't want to sit. Everyone always has more fun in the back, plus I have to sit with a counselor, but I should stop feeling bad for myself this is going to be an amazing summer. I put my stuff on the bus. It would be a good half an hour until the bus leaves because someone always has to come late.

Scott's POV

As hugged my parents and said goodbye I headed to the bus. There was a counselor standing at the door.
"Hi I'm Esther what's your name?" She asked
"I'm Scott Hoying"
"Ok Scott you are in seat 5b, the window as you requested. With Mitch Grassi"
"Awesome, thanks" I said as I got on the bus. I don't know anyone named Mitch Grassi, but I bet he is really nice. As much as I want to talk to him I will probably be staring out the window. 5b, is in the front of the bus. Ugh I hate sitting in the front of the bus, it's no fun, well from my previous experience it isn't. The counselors all sit in the front and we can't really do anything. If I can't do anything I might just sleep on the bus. I'm so tired. I didn't get much sleep last night because is was so excited but I doubt I'll be able to sleep on the bus.

Avi's POV

I was hanging around by my sister, Esther, since our parents left us, but with my luck she did not want her little brother hanging around and pushed me to the side and after 10 minutes decided she wanted to get rid of me.
"Avi you are in seat 6a, behind me, with Kevin Olusola."  She said.
"You just want to get rid of me don't you? You do not want me hanging around" I replied stubbornly
"No Avi, other kids are getting on the bus now just join them"
"But I don't want to"
"Avi I am sitting right in front of  you, just get on the bus, please?"
"Ugh fine"
As I got on the bus and found my seat I watched as a blonde girl got on and sat right in front of me.
"Hi I'm Kristin" she said sweetly
"I'm Avi" I replied, but I wasn't in the mood to talk. I guess she sensed it because she turned around and sat in her seat.

Kevin's POV

My mom left as soon as all my stuff was under the bus. I looked around at all the crying parents and eager children until I saw a line by the bus door. Everyone was finding their seating arrangements. I decided I should probably wait on line to find my seat. After a good 10 minutes I was at the front of the line.
"Hi I'm Esther what's your name?" Said the peppy counselor.
"I'm Kevin Olusola" I replied.
"Ok you are in seat 6a with my brother Avi, be nice to him" she then saw my cello "do you want me to get one of the guys to put that under the bus for you?"
"No I will keep it with me"
I got on the bus and saw my bus partner. He had earbuds in and was reading something on his phone. From what I saw he probably did not want to talk so I sat down until the blonde in front of us turned around.
"Hi I'm Kirstie" she said
"Hi I'm Kevin, nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you to"
That was the end of the small conversation but I felt much better feeling like I had a friend.

Mitch's POV

When I arrived at the bus stop, my stuff was put under the bus and I got on line to find out what seat I was going to be in. When I got to the front of the line I was greeted by a very peppy counselor
"Hi I'm Esther what's your name?" She asked
"I'm Mitch Grassi" I replied
"Ok Mitch you are in seat 5b with Scott Hoying"
"Thank you"
When I got on the bus I saw a tall blonde in the seat already.
"Hi I'm Mitch, you must be Scott" I said nervously
"Yeah, that's me. I like your purple hair, it's cool" he replied.
"Thanks"
As I got settled in a blonde girl approached the two of us.
"Hi I'm Kirstin" she said
"I'm Mitch" I replied
"I'm Scott" Scott said.
"Nice to meet you boys, I like your hair Mitch" she said then went back to her seat. Scott put his earbuds in and I soon realized how long this bus ride was going to be.
