Avi's POV

Mitch is gone. We can't find him. We checked the bunk, the music room, and every other place he could be.
"Did you find him?" Kirstie asked us. She seemed nervous. She was dressed in her Jasmine costume for the play and we could tell the majority of her nervousness is from Mitch disappearing.
"No, Kirst, we didn't. We checked everywhere, we can't find him" Scott replied. He was scared. We couldn't find Mitch, and it's his boyfriend. He was going to protect him and he feels as if it was all his fault.

Mitch's POV

The play started 20 minutes ago. I was still sitting behind the tree. I know I shouldn't be here. I probably scared the crap out of Scott. They looked for me, I know they did. I saw them, but I didn't come out, I couldn't. I couldn't face them, face Scott. Travis won't find me if I'm here. I know I should go back, to the band, the bunk, text Scott, let him know I'm safe.
Ring ring
It was Scott. I was scared to answer but I wanted to let him know I was okay.
"Hello?"
"Mitch! Where the fuck are you? We are all worried sick about you! How could you leave us?"
"I was scared. Travis won't find me where I am. You guys didn't. You came close though"
"What do you mean?"
"I saw you guys looking for me, well heard you. I should've come out. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. It's intermission now. Will you please come back?"
"Yeah. I'm on my way"

Scott's POV

He said he was on his way. How far could he be? Intermission is almost over and I don't know where he is. I know he's not to far, the campus isn't that big.

Mitch's POV

I sat at the tree. I know I should get up. I should go cheer on Kirstie and support her, but I couldn't bring myself to get up. I don't know what it is. I'm always one of the first to support a friend in need, but today, today it was just different. I don't know why I just can't bring myself to support my friends, the people I love, but I just can't.

Kirstie's POV

We sang A Whole New World and I scanned the crowd, no Mitch. Where could he possibly be?

Scott's POV

The show ended and Kirstie ran out to greet us.
"Did Mitch come?"she asked me eagerly
"No, sorry."
"I hope he's okay"
"I called him during intermission, he said he was coming. I don't know why he isn't here"
"Look, Scott, we're all worried. We will find him, I promise"

Mitch's POV

I finally decided to head to the bunk. I got up, brushed myself off and started walking towards the bunks. I felt bad, Kirstie was so excited for the play and I missed it. I practically knew every line from practicing it with her during our shower time.
I felt something wasn't right but I just couldn't figure out what it was.

Scott's POV

Travis got him. I wasn't there to protect him. I shouldn't have let him run off. I can't believe this. At least last I heard he is safe. For now at least. Hopefully I can find him before Travis does. If not, well I don't know how I'm going to handle it.

Kevin's POV

Scott is nervous, well we all are. When someone as important as Mitch is to us, runs off and hides, and we can't find him. We worry. When your boyfriend disappears, in Scott's case, you worry. That's just how things go. In Scott's case, he also feels as if it's his fault because he wasn't fast enough, and he couldn't prevent it, but it's not. Mitch ran off, which was his choice. It was hard to stop him. Mitch is pretty fast too and I know Scott is beating himself up inside for not being able to catch him or find him. He called Mitch and Mitch answered. He's okay. Whatever happens happened and hopefully he will come back in one piece but we can't be to sure.
"Hey Scott?" I asked
"Yeah?"
"Do you wanna talk, I get it if you don't want to, but if you need someone to talk to, I want you to know that I'm always here"
"I think I'd like to talk now"
"Okay, spill"
"Well Mitch got some texts from one of the guys in the band that lost threatening him. I promised him I'd protect him, but he wouldn't listen so the band lost and he ran off to hide from him, and I can't protect him when he is, well I don't know where he is"
"Look, Scott, we will find him, I don't know if he'll be in one piece, but he will be fine, eventually."
"Thanks Kev. It really means a lot to me"
"No problem, I'll be here all summer"

Mitch's POV

I walked for a while before calling Kirstie to apologize.
"Hello?" She answered
"Hey Kirst, it's me"
"Mitch?"
"Yeah. Look I'm sorry I missed your show, I was just scared. Travis threatened me and I was scared he'd come after me so I hid. I saw you guys looking for me and I should've come out. I should've come to the show. I couldn't bring myself to get up I'm sorry. I'm walking back to the bunk now. I feel so bad. Scott's been nothing but worried, and I missed the most important night to you"
"Look Mitch, it's fine. There will be more plays that I'm in."
"Hey Mitch!" I heard someone call.
"Kirst. I got to go. I'll see you when I get back to the bunk."
"Bye"
I turned around and saw Travis standing there, with a sly grin on his face. He ran towards me. I fell to the ground and felt a sharp pain in my leg. Then my head went into a tree and everything went black.
