Every now and again, Pete would think about his life. It felt kind of bland. Sure, he had finished his essay for science way early, but that only meant he had more free time to
watch Netflix, and yeah, his TV shows on Netflix were getting a little more interesting, but he didn't really have much to think about.
But then, he would be reminded of the newest addition to the contacts in his phone: Mikey Way's number. Sadly, this was usually in classes where he didn't feel like risking his good guy reputation by getting caught with his phone out, and he rarely brought his phone to class, except to English, because Miss Nestor was kind of boring. She always had the best intentions in mind, once you got over her tendency to get really, really, angry. She was a good teacher, in the sense that she taught her lessons well, but she was also hated amongst the majority of her students.
This time, however, Pete was waiting for Netflix to start the next episode of Sense8, when he remembered that he could text Mikey.
And he did so.
