A/n Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated. I've been feeling quite ill and I don't update when I'm ill because it always turns out rubbish. I only want to post quality!

Nico POV

I swung my stygion iron blade in a semi circle, vaporising the nearest monsters. I had not been happy when I heard Reyna was missing. I mean come on, it had been two weeks since the giant war. Surely these monsters could stay away long enough for them to have a break.

So now here I was - fighting monsters with a bajillion other demigods and satyrs, trying to get our friends back.

You know it sounds a lot better when you put it that way.

Fighting so many monsters was not fun. Each time you took one down, another took it's place. Like those makeup dispensers in shops, when you take one it pushes the others forward.

I'm not saying I buy makeup, but it's kind of hard to miss when it's right at the entrance...... Oh never mind.

Anyway, I fought alongside Will, Lou Ellen and Cecil. Since the onager thing we'd become pretty close, which is rare for me. I, uh, mean close as friends, not in that way... ME AND WILL ARE JUST FRIENDS. Shut up.

Someone ran up to me.
"Hey di Angelo." They said.
I spun round. It was Reyna.
"Reyna!" I exclaimed "You're back!"
"I'm guessing you missed me."
I punched her arm playfully. She knows full well I did.
"So, save any monsters for me?"
"Oh, plenty. Help yourself."
"Why thank you."

We fought side by side. I lost track of time pretty quick. At one point it was just me, Reyna and Will. Then it was me, Cecil, Lou Ellen and Reyna. It constantly changed.

Some time later, I heard the conch horn blow. It was our call to retreat; it either meant we had too many injured or had done significant damage. I hoped it was the latter, but my sneaking suspicion was that it was the first.

I shuffled back with my group. After what seemed like hours we were behind the defensive border. Monsters struggled to get through it.

"Regroup!" Annabeth called. All those with authority - apart from Jake - healer Jake - who was in the infirmary - gathered into a group. We were all exhausted, but we'd accomplished what we'd hoped to. To get our friends back safely.

"Right," Annabeth began "So we should get everyone back to wherever they should be. Bella, Willow, Raven - do the MoonRunners have a way to get back?"
"Do we ever," was Bella's reply "Don't worry about us. We have our ways."
"Okay then. The Hunters and Amazons can transport themselves of course, and the buses will work for everyone else."
"So we'll be waiting 'till tomorrow, to let everyone heal right?" Butch asked.
"Yup. Everyone go check on your groups, we leave at first light. Or whenever we're ready really."

Everyone wandered off. I went and checked on Hazel.I'd missed my sister.

It got dark really fast. The monsters had stopped trying to breach our defences. Guess the smarter ones realised it wasn't going to happen after a platoon of cyclopses got burned to a crisp by greek fire and three drakons got mouths full of arrows and dissolved.

I crawled into my tent. The camp was a mix match of hunter, MoonRunner and Roman tents. So the whole camp was checkered with white, brown and black.

I still couldn't get my head around the MoonRunners. It was partly their weird class system. Healers, warriors, mage's and what was it? Oh yeah, mechanics. Why on earth to healers and mechanics need a class? I guess I can understand mechanics but healers?
