Chapter 3

Hannah’s POV: 

ONE WEEK LATER:

One year and a month to this day is how long David and I have been together; it has been the best year and a month of my life, this man is the man in which I hope to spend the rest of my life with, the man which I expect to have my first and last child with. I really am just so in love with him.

In order for us to spend each and every second of the day with each other David had asked if he could get the day off of training. At first he was told that he couldn’t, but then after explaining that we weren’t able to spend our year anniversary together he was soon given the ok to miss just today’s training session, but only if he makes up for it. I on the other hand was given the ok as soon as I had mentioned it to Malcolm; he was so understanding with things like this; and as my work performance had been brilliant this past week it was near enough impossible for Malcolm to decline. I never thought I would be saying this at all but I really am enjoying working in the café at the moment, I have grown to become closer friends with Millie and Malcolm in just a week, ONE WEEK and Millie, Malcolm and I are already really good friends, its crazy.

“Hannah are you ready?” David shouted up the stairs to me.

“Just getting changed, I won’t be second.” I called back to him. Today David had planned for us both to go to London Zoo for the day which I thought was really cute; I mean I love animals so I think it will be a really nice day out. As the weather wasn’t too hot but not too cold I had decided to wear my skin tight denim blue jeans with my pink/creamy coloured circular hem sweater and my cap toe flats. Grabbing my black Loki bag on the way out of the room once I had checked myself out in the mirror, I made my way down the stairs and into the front room where David was waiting for me.

“Are we ready to go then?” I asked once I arrived in the front room. David turned to face me; he looked phenomenal, he had a red Ralph Lauren polo on with black skinny but baggy jeans on (if that’s makes sense) and some grey Nike blazers. He really did look so good, I really did realise right now how lucky I am to have him in my life, how lucky I am to be his girlfriend. Before he even replied my question in which I had asked him he continuously looked me up and down, from head to toe, seemingly admiring my outfit choice for today; that cheeky little smile of his stuck on his face as he got up from the sofa and made his way over to where I was standing, in the doorway of the front room.

“You look beautiful… as always.” He complimented me, David’s face was so close to mine at this point that his long curly locks tickled the side of my face, causing me to get a little aggravated; but he didn’t mind as he just laughed it off. “Come on babe, let’s go.” He said to me softly, moving himself away from me so he wasn’t so close and took my hand into his as we made our way down the hallways of the house and out of the door.

Once we were out of the house and David had locked and shut the door; we made our way over to his parked car on the driveway still walking hand in hand. When we had eventually got over to the car, David walked me round to the passenger side and opened the door for me; waiting there holding it open for me until I had gotten inside and then walked round to the drivers side and got in himself. I really am excited for today, spending every second of the day with David is something I hardly ever get to do due to the fact that he has training and I have work so I am determined to make the most of today and enjoy every second of it. David soon started the engine of the car and we were on our way to the zoo, this may seem a little childish or whatever but I really couldn’t wait until we got to the zoo.

As expected the drive was taking ages, why did we have to live so far from London Zoo? I really do not know how I am going to cope with this long drive, baring in mind that I do feel a little sick sometimes whenever I go on a long car journey. “Are you excited?” David asked me as he turned his head quickly to give me a quick glance.
