Chapter 9

Hannah’s POV: 

TWO DAYS LATER:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off on the bedside table next to me. Slightly shifting my body up I brought my hands to my face and began rubbing my eyes to adjust to the feeling of being awake. Once I had finished I turned my head to the side to find David peacefully sleeping and making the occasional soft grunts in his sleep. He looked so adorable. After a short while I decided to get up out of bed and start to get ready as I did have work today, unfortunately.

Ever since the party a couple of days ago I cannot get my head around the fact that I will be going to Brazil with David. Throughout the duration in which we have been together I have always wanted to go with him to his home country but of course due to the fact that he has football matches throughout the year we unfortunately haven’t been able to. But now that we will be going to Brazil together I couldn’t be happier. The only thing I am worried about is the fact that David will be asking Malcolm if I can have some time off. I am just hoping and praying that he agrees.

As I got up off of the bed I dragged my feet along the floor and over to the mirror where I sat down on the carpet below, just staring at myself in the mirror. The bun which I had placed my hair in the night before was no longer a bun, I just had a big bundle of messy hair on the top of my head; bed head. Sighing in the process I removed the hair band from my head and replaced it around my wrist as I took the hairbrush from beside me in my hands and began brushing through my hair which quite frankly looked like a bit of a birds nest at this point in time.

Whilst I sorted out my hair, brushing through each and every single tangle, I heard David continuously grunt in his sleep. I watched him through the mirror which gave me a perfect view of him sleeping. He was fidgeting constantly, rolling over on his back and then rolling back over onto his stomach. That is the only issue I have with sharing a bed with him every night, he never stops fidgeting and moving about in his sleep. At first I find it really cute but as the night goes on and it starts to affect me as he constantly toss and turn it does get rather annoying.

Once I had finished sorting out my hair I quietly got up making sure I didn’t wake up David and made my way to the bathroom where I would brush my teeth.

David’s POV:

I woke up in a flash from the bathroom door slamming shut. As I sat up I realised I was alone so it must have been Hannah going into the bathroom. Either that or someone has broken in and they just happened to decide to burgle the bathroom. So yeah, it was definitely Hannah. Probably getting ready for work I guess.

As I sat up I reached beside me and grabbed one of Hannah’s pillows, placing it behind me so I had something to support my back with. Now that I’m awake I guess that today would be the right day to talk to Malcolm about getting Hannah some time off to come to Brazil with me for the Confederations Cup. I don’t think I can even explain to you how excited I am for her to finally come to my home country. The both of us have wanted to go together so badly but it was just my football stopping us. And now we will finally be able to go together, well that’s if Malcolm agrees. I am sure that he will though as I am quite a persuasive person, I tend to get my own way with a lot of people. But it’s just Hannah which I can never get my own with at times, but that’s how I like my women. And to me she is absolutely perfect.

It must have only been about five minutes later when I heard the bathroom door slam shut again and I heard Hannah’s footsteps begin to get louder as she got closer and closer to the bedroom.

“Oh you’re finally awake then.” She smiled, looking in my direction of the room as she entered. I’m not too sure if she noticed but she had a little bit of toothpaste on the crease of her mouth. I had to try and contain my laughter by placing my hand over my mouth but trying to make it not seem obvious that I was laughing at her.
