David’s POV:

“David…” Voiced someone beside me, directly into my ear. It was almost as if it was a whisper. But for some reason I couldn’t bring myself to respond. Instead I just simply kept my eyes shut tight, blocking out all my surrounding as I attempted to get back to sleep. The deep sleep in which I had just been woken from, by what it seems, Hannah trying her hardest to wake me. Which I must admit, she did succeed with. But hopefully not for too long, as I felt my eyes getting heavier and heavier by the second. Until finally, I felt myself drifting back off to sleep.

But of course knowing Hannah and her demanding personality, that didn’t last long at all. It couldn’t have been more than a few minutes or so, well that’s what it seemed anyway, until I felt her place her small hands on each of my shoulders and soon began shaking me awake. Still, I didn’t respond to her. I simply just kept my eyes tightly shut in hope that she might just leave me be.

I don’t see why she couldn’t just let me sleep for just a little longer. Surely I deserve a longer sleep, due to the match last night. I mean I worked my socks off, gave my all to the team and we won. So really my reward should be a longer sleep than usual. But no, Hannah doesn’t seem to think the same as me. Well there’s no surprise there really if you ask me.

“For god sake David, just wake up. We’re leaving in half and hour and you still need to get all your stuff together.” It was at that moment once those words had escaped her lips that I remembered just what day it was. Today was the day we were all making our way to the next hotel ahead of the game against Mexico. Seriously, how could I forget something like this?

So with that I immediately shot up from resting my head on the pillow. To the point where I seemed to have got up a little too fast as my head began going all dizzy and I was a little light headed at this point. Rubbing my eyes almost instantly, I soon turned to look at Hannah, who was now standing beside the bed. A big smile on her face as she saw me. “What time is it?” I yawned in my sleepy voice, whilst stretching my arms about a little.

“Well last time I checked it had just gone half past ten, and that was just before I came to wake you up…for the second time. So you really need to hurry up and sort all your stuff out, along with get yourself ready and Ludy and Oscar are going to be here in about half an hour.” Hannah explained, before I watched her walk off towards a small pile of her clothes in the corner of the room. Seemingly the ones in which she was wearing for the trip.

Continuing with watching Hannah walk over to her clothes, I soon got myself up out of bed. And began walking over to my suitcases in the corner of the room. Finding that Hannah had already sorted hers out and that they were by the door. Well she really is organised today isn’t she? Well that’s a first. Already this pregnancy is beginning to do things to her, good things for a matter of fact.

Once stood in front of my suitcase I soon pulled out my hoodie, black t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms, beanie hat, airmax’s and of course a fresh pair of boxers. And with that I soon held it all in my hands before walking over to the bed, where I threw them all down onto it. At this point Hannah had disappeared off into the bathroom, leaving me alone in the main room of suite.

So with that I removed the clothes I already had on, throwing them into the direction of my suitcases. Which thankfully landed inside. And soon enough I put on the fresh pair of boxers I had on the bed, before grabbing my t-shirt from the bed also. Pulling my head through, it was soon enough on and I took my tracksuit bottoms with each hand. Slipping my legs through each hole, I pulled them all the way up to my waist. And soon enough they were on.

At this point I sat myself down onto the bed, throwing my airmax’s down in front of me on the floor. Slipping each foot inside I soon done both sets of laces up and stood up. Grabbing my hoodie I soon put it on, along with my hat.
