Hannah’s POV:

I was so pissed at David right now. Thanks to him he had made me late for work, even after he was rushing me around earlier this morning to get there on time! This really isn’t the greatest impression to give my boss now is it? I didn’t even like working in a café anyway, they are always full of grumpy customers moaning at you if their order is wrong; but at the end of the day it is a job so I should be more grateful that I’m working here.

“Hannah are you going to just sit there all day or are you actually going to take some customers orders?” My boss Malcolm shouted across the café at me whilst I was leaning on the side counters.

I really didn’t want to be here right now. “Yes, I’m coming I’m coming.” I mumbled as I got up from the counter and dragged my feet across the floor and to the awaiting customers; rolling my eyes in the process. I really wasn’t acting professional at all, I don’t know what it is but I just really hate working in places like this.

“Hello can I take you’re order?” I asked the woman over in the far corner; with a much more enthusiastic voice now.

“Yes I’ll take a coffee please.” She replied.

“Ok it shouldn’t be too long.” I replied with a fake and sarcastic smile. The first words Malcolm said to me when I got into work were “service with a smile”, after he had moaned at me about being late of course, which he took totally out of context; he had acted as if I had done something far worse than just being late for work by about five minutes. It’s not like I had committed a murder or anything is it?

Luckily for me work was going really quick, I only had a matter of minutes left before I was aloud to leave. Malcolm had stopped moaning at me for every little thing and as strange as it may sound, he actually seemed like a really nice man. He can’t be more than a couple years older than me, he had short brown hair and was quite muscular; but he had nothing on David, no one did. I also got talking to one of the other waitress’ here in café, her name was Millie and trust me she was beautiful! Long blonde hair down to her waist; she was like a twig, she was so so skinny! I was really jealous of her. She was shocked when we got onto the subject of our private lives, like boyfriends etc. Once I had told her that David Luiz was my boyfriend she didn’t believe me; but she soon believed me as I assured her and she recognised me from some of the press pictures which had been released of the both of us on nights out, and she really couldn’t quite get her head around it. But anyway; everyone who worked here seemed lovely and I was sure that I would soon end up loving my job; well I hope so anyway…

“Ok Hannah you can go home now, your shift is over. I’m sorry for the way I reacted earlier.” Malcolm said to me as he walked over to behind the counter where Millie and I were standing.

“Oh no it’s fine don’t worry about it, I shouldn’t have been late on my first day; it wasn’t very professional of me.” I smiled as I grabbed my bag and coat from the hanger in which they were hanging up on.

“Well I’ll see you tomorrow at twelve then yes?” Malcolm said to me.

“Yes you will, it was nice meeting you both also.” I added as I made my way out of the café. Millie and Malcolm both shot me a smile before I made my way out of the door and to my parked car outside.

I unlocked the car once I had put my coat on and placed my bag on the empty passenger seat of my Clio once I had gotten inside. Work really wasn’t that bad at all today, nothing like I had expected it to me if I’m honest and I can really see myself enjoying working there.

Once I had started the engine of my car, I began making my way home. The long drive home really was something in which I wouldn’t be looking forward to everyday in which I had work, but I suppose I would have to get used to it.

It was just my luck that I would be held up in traffic isn’t it? I suppose its rush hour though isn’t it, everyone is trying to get home from work as quick as they can; typical really isn’t it. The amount of beeps from the horn of people’s cars which were going off was unbelievable. Some people really are so impatient when it comes to driving and surprisingly I am not one of them, well I can be but only if I am in a rush to be somewhere and another driver annoys me.

Eventually, after a long half an hour of waiting in traffic and another fifteen minutes or so to get home, I arrived back at our house. Once I had arrived I grabbed my bag from the passenger seat of the car and got out; quickly putting my hood of my coat up over my head due to the fact that it was raining. I wasn’t surprised with the weather; I mean it is England isn’t it? And the weather is always like this over here, it’s either occasionally hot or just raining and horrible and usually it is just horrible and raining which reflects on my mood a lot of the time.

“Babe I’m home!” I called out as soon as I had got into the house, removing my now soaking wet coat from my body. My long brown hair was soaking from the rain, the hood of my coat really hadn’t done much at all, and it was useless. I made my way through the hallway of the house and into the front room in hope that maybe I would see David, but no he wasn’t to be seen. I sighed in annoyance and placed my soaking coat on the boiling hot radiator so it would dry and I looked up at the clock on the wall; 4:55 the time read. Surly David should be home from training by now? Unless he’s gone out with the boys or something.

I walked back down the hallway and up the stairs to our bedroom so I could get changed out of my soaking wet work clothes. I opened the door and walked over to the draws to find some other clothes in which I could change into.

“How was work babe?” David whispered into my ear as he placed his hands around my waist from behind. I jumped in shock at the fact that he had snuck up on me from behind and scared me.

I smacked him in the chest lightly. “You’re a child do you know that?” I laughed as I twisted myself round so I was facing him.

“How am I a child?” He asked, he obviously why.

“You know why, sneaking up behind me? David I thought you were a burglar or something.” He moved his face closer to mine so his perfect curly locks were tickling the side of my face. I looked up at him smiling for a while as we both looked deep into each others eyes.

Everything really was falling into place for me right now. I have a job finally which I know I will eventually love and to top it all off I have an amazing boyfriend which would do anything for me. I love my life right now; this is by far the happiest I have ever been.
