Lara POV
Argh! Ang sakit ng ulo ko.
Pero teka? Nasaan ako?
I know hindi ko kwarto ito.
At lalong lalo nang hindi to kwarto ni Jake.
But wait? Jake? Wedding?
Oh my Gosh! My wedding!
I need to get out of here.
Race POV
"Tulong! Buksan niyo to! Please let me out! Tulong!"
Naririnig kong kumakalabog ang pintuan kung
nasaan si Lara.
I felt the need to just go there and release her but something in me that doesn't want to do it either.
"Parang awa nyo na. Pakawalan nyo na ako please."
She's still banging on the door and my dufus friend is just sitting in his chair like nothing is happening.
"Wins! Are you just going to leave her locked up like that?" I asked almost whispering
He sips his drink and looks at me.
"Yes, for now"
Alam kong abnormal tong kaibigan ko pero di ganito. We usually get in trouble when we were younger especially when this crazy one over here does something.
"Let's just stop this. She'll never agree with our plan"
FLASHBACK
"Are you serious? Kung niloloko mo lang ako hindi to nakakatuwa"
Winston chuckled while shaking his head
"Do I look like I'm kidding Bro?" then his face became serious "I am not gonna let my sister marry that as$h0le."
"She loves him and there's nothing that we can do to make her change her mind." I insisted. Totoo naman e. Kahit anong gawin ko si Jake ang mahal niya. Kahit sinaktan pa siya nito noon.
"She'll marry you. I'll make sure she'll marry you." - Winston
"How on earth will you convince her?" I asked
He stood up and looked straight at me
"Simple. I'm going to make an offer she can't refuse."
Ano na naman kaya ang nasa utak nitong si Wins?
He continued talking as I stayed silent
"I'll bring Jake's company to the ground if she won't agree to my terms. You said she loves that a$$ so much right? She won't want to see him get hurt or better yet defeated. So she'll do everything to keep that from happening. I'm sure of that."
"Even sacrifice her happiness? Do you want your own sister to be miserable for the rest of her life?" I can't believe he would do this to her own flesh and blood. He really has gone mad.
"I am not sacrificing her happiness nor she'll be miserable because she'll have you. She's meant to be with you. I know you'll make her happy bro. You better make her happy or..I'll kill you! Haha" Winston laughing while tapping my shoulder.
Yup, he's crazy alright.
"So don't worry ok? Everything will be fine." he said trying to convince me.
PRESENT
I know she'll make me the happiest man but will she feel the same?
"She will Race. I bet she will" Winston said
"Tulong!!! Ano ba? Bakit nyo ba ginagawa to? Ano ba ginawa ko sa inyo?" I can hear her sobs again coming from the room. F*ck! Ano ba gagawin ko?
"I know what you're thinking Race. And my answer is no. This is for the best Bro."
"I don't know about that Wins. I don't know." I said
Lara POV
I need to think of something fast. Hindi pwedeng dito nalang ako. I need to contact Jake. Kailangan niyang malaman kung nasaan ako.
That's right! Phone.
Where's my phone? Argh! Malamang Lara kinuha nila tanga.
Footsteps coming closer...
Papasok sila. May chance na ako tumakas.
Door opens...
Then a minute later...
Door closes...
I went towards the door and saw a tray of food.
Oo nga pala. Ang tagal ko ng nakakulong dito at hindi nakakakain.
I took the tray to the bedside table and opened it. It had french toast, bacon and eggs. And lots of butter and syrup on the side. My favorite breakfast I said to myself. There's only a few people that know my favorite food. Jake, my bestfriend and...Race.
