Tallpaw's POV
Later I woke up and saw nobody in the den. I got the herbs out of my ears and to my surprise I could hear better. Things were still muffled but I could make out different words from cats outside. I stumbled to the entrance and ended up falling right before I made it but I got right back up. Even walking exhausted me as I stumbled slowly out into the clearing. Cats were outside sharing tongues and as I stumbled out some started to notice me. The first one was Shrewpaw. I stared at Shrewpaw and all the scratches on him. Others noticed me and were happy to see me walking and awake. I sat down dizzily and looked around. Everycat was with friends sharing tongues. I flopped down and started grooming myself slowly and carefully. I was still sore from not moving around. I saw Palebird by some other cat that looked familiar but I didn't recognize. I got up and slowly made my way past cats to Palebird and the other cat. On the way cats purred and stroked my back with their tails. I sat down next to Palebird and licked her ear. I started grooming my chest and Palebird watched at me with love. Palebird scooted closer and started grooming my pelt. I laid down and as she licked me I slowly fell asleep from exhaustion of moving.
