Chapter 22:Part 12

Shrewpaw's POV

Heatherstar called a meeting and I headed to the Meeting Hollow. "As you know, Dawnstripe and those two RiverClan cats brought back Tallpaw. He ran after severly hurting Shrewpaw." I flinched. "Shrewpaw, come forward." I stood up and padded forward, confused. "Shrewpaw, what do you think Tallpaw's punisment should be for hurting you so badly?" I looked at Tallpaw and how he looked. "I don't think he should get a physical punisment. He already got one by his dad dying. As for what he did to me.." I paused. "I looked in his eyes and I didn't see Tallpaw in there at all. It looked like he was being controlled. So I don't blame him for what he did." I confirmed it with a nod of my head and padded to the edge of the Meeting Hollow. "Very well, Shrewpaw." Then I heard Palebird yell Tallpaw's name. I whipped around to see Tallpaw shaking violently with fear on his face. I stood frozen with horror watching Barkpaw help Tallpaw. Heatherstar told everyone to go to their nests but I couldn't move. Heatherstar told Dawnstripe and Woollytail to get stuff for a nest for Tallpaw. I found a little bit of heather and I padded forward and put some underneath Tallpaw's head. "Thank you Shrewpaw." Palebird said to him as soon as he stepped back. I went to my nest and slipped into a restless sleep.
