Time Girl part 15

Jamie set up her camera to movie mode. It showed Chester sitting on an oriental rug on the polished hardwood floor in the front room.

"I hope this works," Jamie said.

Chester stretched out and rolled on his side looking at Jamie. She stayed out of the cameras view. Jamie operated the remote control link to adjust and fine tune Chesters solar powered voice collar.

"Chester say something to the camera," Jamie said.

"Something," Chester said with a smile.

"That's wonderful. Now can I get you to sing?," She asked.

"No. I want to tell you a few things since you can hear me better. You should have put this collar on yourself instead of me," Chester said.

"Im sorry but the translator has to be closer to your throat than to my ear in order for it to work. Since I can understand you now. What would you like to talk about?" Jamie asked.

"Where do I start? Oh by the way stop buying that horrible cat food. Have you tasted it? Just share what you fix for yourself. Second thing is get rid of my litter box because I have a giant one out side plus no cat likes to come home to the smell of poop. Who were those two guys that appeared in our front room yesterday? They looked around but didn't touch anything then they vanished like you do," Chester said.

"What," Jamie asked.

"You did hear me. Is this thing working?" Chester asked.

"Yes I heard everything you said. Did you hear any of their conversations?" she answered.

"No. I was in the middle of a bath," Chester said.

Jamie stopped the camera and pulled out the sd card and put a new one in it. She stood up and clocked her watch to an hour before the two guys appeared in her apartment. She hid the camera in the back on some books in her small wall library. Jamie clocked her watch for three hours later, picked up the camera and returned to the beach house. After removing the sd card she placed it in her laptop which was sitting on the kitchen table. Chester sat on the kitchen and watched the video.

"There they are," Chester said.

Jamie saw the two guys. One of them leaned down to get a closer look at Chesters identification collar and the camera showed he had some kind of weapon hidden in his jacket. Jamie zoomed in on it and tried to figure out what it was. She sat back in her chair and paused the video. Jamie thought who would send two guys with some type of weapons to visit one girl and she wondered what it could do because it didn't look like a regular gun. Jamie pushed play and watched them search for her and then the watches. It was a good idea that she had hid them under the floor boards.

One spoke to the other, "I wonder where Miss Grangers at?" the first guy said.

"We have her phone signal coming from here but she's not here," the second guy said.

"Well just catch up with her later," the first guy said as they both vanished.

Jamie turned off the video camera. This was the proof that there was a time agency and they knew about her. If they were friendly why did they carry guns. Most polite people knock on you door and talk to you. Not these two guys and why were there two of them instead of just one? The more Jamie thought about everything the madder she got. The crazy genius inventor inside of her wanted to screamed but Jamie didn't make a sound on the outside. When she was upset she invented. She made a pot of coffee and fed Chester some bologna for supper.

"What wrong Jamie?" Chester asked.

"I'm pissed off at those creeps for closing down my project and now I feel violated that two of them were in my apartment and if they come here how could I stop them from hurting us?" Jamie said.

"I don't know put some sort of force field around us," Chester said.

"Where did you get an idea like that?" Jamie asked.

"You know I watch Tv," Chester said.

"You know there's no such thing as a force field but that does give me an idea," Jamie said as she went to work in her small laboratory. She brought a pillow for Chester so he could be next to her while she worked. Jamies laptop computer lit up her face as she worked on creating a techeon cage to trap any one trying to intrude on her or Chester. She constructed an electronic box with two small rubber antennas that could be remotely controlled. She activated it and placed it in the front room. Then she constructed a small type of techeon gun to neutralize any intruders time watch.

Jamie said, "When I have them trapped and their watches neutralized, what shall I do with them? If I send them to the past they could mess up history. If I send them ten thousand years into the future that should keep them from bothering us."
