Jamies eyes got big when seen the two men trapped in her techeon cage. They both pulled out their gun when they saw Jamie. She pulled out her neutralizing gun and shot at their time watches. Next she clocked the techeon trap and sent them ten thousand years into the future then Jamie reset the techeon cage for anymore intruders.
"What a bunch of maroons," Jamie said.
"It looked like they were going to shoot us," Chester said.
"That's what I thought too," Jamie said.
"Why are they bothering us?" Chester asked.
"I don't know but I better find out?" Jamie said.
"How are you going to do that?" Chester asked.
"First I'll have to do some research," Jamie said as she opened up her laptop computer.
"What's for lunch Jamie?" Chester asked.
"How about some of that microwave chicken you love?" Jamie asked.
"Sound delicious," Chester said.
Jamie started the chicken and a bowl of mixed veggies. She made a pot of her favorite coffee and brought her laptop computer into the front room. She pulled out a wire and connected her laptop to the techeon cage. Jamie typed in a request on the point of origin for the last techeon burst. The date read 2614. The microwave beeped and startled her. She took the food out and shared it with Chester.
"Why such a glum face?" he asked.
"The people that are hunting us are six hundred years from the future," Jamie said as she ate a veggie.
"Why are they trying to hurt us?" Chester asked.
"I haven't a clue," Jamie said as she sipped on her coffee.
"Are you going to time travel six hundred years into the future?" Chester asked.
"No I'm going to time jump a hundred years at a time and try to discover when the agency was formed," Jamie answered.
"Can I join you?" Chester asked.
"I don't know Chester," Jamie said.
"Well look at it like this. What happens if you never come back and I'm stuck here alone. If you take me with you you'll have me to check out situations before you enter a room. I have acute hearing and smelling capabilities plus I can enter and leave a room without being noticed," Chester said.
"Well okay. I don't want you taking any chances to get caught," Jamie said.
"I promise," Chester said.
"Okay. We'll leave in the morning when everything is charged up," Jamie said.
