Jamie committed all the details of the abduction to memory. She put fresh batteries in her time watch and in Chesters collar. She went into her lab and put a stun gun in her back pocket.
"Are we ready?" Chester asked.
"Yes Chester," Jamie said.
She picked him up and clocked her watch. They appeared on the street where Kerry was to be abducted from. She sat Chester on the ground an he walked next to her. The school bell rang.
"That good timing," Chester said.
"I called the school to find out when they let out the last class," Jamie said.
They sat down on a bus bench and waited for most of the children to pass. Jamie leaned over to Chester.
"That's Kelly, the one with the red ribbon in her blonde hair," Jamie whispered.
"Are we going to tell her what's going to happen?" he asked.
"No not at all. This time around we are just going to watch and see what happens," Jamie answered.
Kelly was walking way behind the other students. A black car slowly drove past Jamie and Chester and approached Kelly. The car kept up with Kelly and the drivers window rolled down. The man handed Kelly a picture of his lost dog and asked if she could help him look because he didn't know the neighborhood that well. She got in the car and it drove off.
"That's pretty dam sneeky way to abduct a child," Jamie said.
"That's truly evil. Do you have a plan to deal with that jerk?" Chester asked.
"Now that I have his license plate number," Jamie answered.
She pulled out her laptop and ran the number. The name that popped up was James Moraley at 722 Union street, Columbia. Jamie closed up her lap top and turned to Chester.
"Are you ready?" she asked.
"Sure," he replied.
Jamie picked up Chester and clocked her watch. They vanished and appeared two blocks away from James Moraleys house. They stayed back and saw James carry an unconscious Kerry into the house.
"What are we going to do?" Chester asked.
"I'm going to call the police and her parents," Jamie said as she pulled out the new cell phone she bought two days ago.
Jamie told them that she had followed them to 722 Union street and that James Moraleys abducted Kerry Johnson. They asked her who she was and she relplied that she was a concerned citizen. Her and Chester sat on a bus stop bench that was close by. The police surrounded the house and three young girls were brought out and placed in ambulances. James was handcuffed and placed in the back of the police car. Kerry's parents followed behind her ambulance.
"See we make a good team," Chester said.
Jamie smiled and said, "yes we do."
They vanished once everyone had left.
