It was late so Jamie and Chester went to bed. The next morning the sun shined through the beach house. They both stretched and yawned. Jamie made a fresh pot of coffee.

"Good morning," Chester said.

Jamie screamed. She had forgot about Chesters translating collar.

"I'm sorry Chester I'm not use to you talking to me," Jamie said.

"Me either. I know the routine and as soon as you've had your coffee you'll be alright," Chester said.

"You know me well," she said.

"Can you let me out?" I have to find my new bathroom," Chester said.

"Yes. I'll put a cat door in for you today," Jamie said.

"That will make it easy on both of us," Chester said.

"Chester please don't talk to anyone. Okay?" Jamie requested.

"Okay but if I find a girlfriend all bets are off," Chester said.

Jamie let him out and waited for him to return. He came back in for breakfast. She had an oatmeal muffin and fixed Chester bacon and eggs. Jamie thought of her lawyer Ray Eastman and wondered if he could help her set up a corperation for Chesters talking collar to have it manufactured and marketed. She brushed Chester down and dressed in her nice business dress. She activated the trap and walked out the front door with Chester in her arms. Jamie clocked her watch and vanished. She appeared in the ladies bathroon at Ray Eastman firm. Jamie set Chester down.

"Chester don't say anything about time traveling to Ray okay?" Jamie asked.

"Okay Jamie," Chester said.

Jamie and Chester walked up to the receptionist desk and ask to speak to Ray Eastman. The receptionist called him and he told her to cancel all of his mettings for today. He came out of his office and asked Jamie to come in. Chester followed behind.

"How have you been?" Ray asked.

"Busy. I've invented a talking collar and would like to manufacture and sell it on the Internet," Jamie said.

"Do you have a working prototype?" Ray asked.

"Yes," Jamie lifted Chester on to his desk, "say hello to Ray Chester," Jamie said.

"Hello Ray nice to meet you," Chester said as moved his mouth to the words.

"How?" Ray asked.

"I thought I heard Chester speaking to me and he was but I couldn't understand him so I put the sound through several electronic filters and modulators and now Chester can talk," Jamie said.

"Do you have a circuit diagram of the translating collar?" Ray asked.

"Sure," she said as she pulled it out of her pocket and he opened it up.

"This is revolutionary Jamie. What do you think about it Chester?" Ray asked.

"It's nice to be understood," Chester said.

"I know of an electronic firm that would love to make these because I'm their tax account lawyer," Ray said.

"That would be great," Jamie said.

"How much do you want to charge for one translator collar?" Ray asked.

"I don't know. What would you pay to hear your pet talk to you?" Jamie asked.

"Let's start off with five hundred dollars a piece," Ray said.

"Okay. How does thirty percent of this new company sound to you as payment?" Jamie asked.

"That sounds fair to me," Ray answered.

Ray called to his receptionist to bring in some contracts for Jamie to fill out. She signed them and returned to the front door outside of the beach house making sure to avoid the trap.

"That was painless," Chester said as he jumped down out of Jamies arms.

"Yes. Ray is a good and honest lawyer and I think he likes me," Jamie said.

She unlocked the front door and walked into the front room with Chester.

"Jamie I think we caught two mice?" Chester said.
