Jamie appeared in the front room of her old apartment. It was early in the morning so she made a pot of hazelnut coffee. She walked into the bedroom and sat on her bed as the first Jamie was still sleeping.

"Good morning Jamie. I have something important to tell you and I've made coffee for us," the second Jamie said.

The first Jamie rubbed her eyes trying to wake up.

"I discovered time travel didn't I and you are proof," the first Jamie said with a giggle.

"How about a cup of coffee?" the second Jamie asked.

"Sure," the first Jamie said.

They both sat down at the table and sniffed the coffee then took a sip.

"You look a little tired," the first Jamie said.

"That's why I'm here to solve problems before they can start," the second Jamie said.

"You have my full attention," the first Jamie said.

"Where do I start. You will need to take notes. First be on the look out for a creepy looking professor named Leland. He steals your work and heads a government time agency with the information. He sends his agents to try and capture you. Next do not keep your equations on your pink laptop because it gets stolen. Just memorize them it's not hard," the second Jamie said.

"How about the lab work at the university?" the first Jamie asked.

"Give them the wrong equations. They won't know the difference. Oh and ask Dean Johnson if he's had a chance to look at your work and he'll aways put you off. I wouldn't say anything to your lab coworkers because they could have tipped off Professor Leland," the first Jamie said.

"Wow it looks like I made some mistakes," the first Jamie said.

"No I had trusted everyone and that was my only mistake," the second Jamie said.

"Can I see the time machine?" the first Jamie asked.

The second Jamie held out her hand as the first Jamie closely examined it.

"Wow this is much smaller than the prototype I was thinking about," the first Jamie said.

"You will have to wait two years because the ion batteries haven't been invented yet," the second Jamie said.

"So I have a lot of work ahead of me?" the first Jamie asked.

"Yes but it will all be worth it. The second day after you discover time travel you become a sixty four million dollar lottery winner by jumping ahead. You hire a lawyer to hire a lawyer who makes you a Ceo and pays you your millions that way. You buy a beach house and invent a talking collar for Chester," the second Jamie said.

"Chester talks?" the first Jamie asked.

"Yes but the chips had just came out so you'll have to wait," the second Jamie answered.

"How does he learn to talk?" the first Jamie asked.

"Buy watching Tv so leave it on for him," the second Jamie said.

"I can do that," the first Jamie said.

"Has Chester runaway yet?" the second Jamie asked.

"No," the first Jamie answered.

"Fry up some bacon and he'll come home," the second Jamie said.

"Thanks for everything," the first Jamie said.

"Your welcome. The time machine is our invention not anyone else's. Always be cautious because you don't want any one to change our time lines. I have to go back Chester is waiting for me," the second Jamie said.

"One more question. Do I have a love interest?" the first Jamie asked.

"You will be able to now with out putting them in danger," the second Jamie said as she clocked her watch and vanished.

Jamie appeared a block away from the beach house. She unlocked the door and walked in. There were two time agents and one was holding Chester. Chester broke free and went to Jamie.

"Miss Granger you have been very hard to catch up with," one of the agents said.

"I'm surprised that you're still here," Jamie said.

They pointed their guns at her.

"No tricks Miss Granger," one agent said.

"It seem that I'm off by a few minute in my calculation," Jamie said.

The time agents slowly vanished and the traps that Jamie had made were gone too.

"Tell me what just happened," Chester asked.

"Time has corrected some of it's mistakes and the time agents never existed," Jamie said

"But how do I remember them?" Chester asked.

"You were close enough to my time watch for it to shield you," Jamie explained.

"So they're not going to bother us any more," Chester said.

"That's right Chester," Jamie said with a smile.
