A Week Later

"(Y/N), pass it over here!"

You locked eyes with Nagisa while bumping the volley ball up for him to spike. He hit it hard over the net right between Makoto and Haru. Neither of them called for the ball, which resulted in them slamming their heads together and falling face first onto the blazing sand.

You bursted out laughing and fell onto the ground holding your stomach.

It was a warm, sun-filled day where all of you decided to take a break from the consistent exercising and swimming by going to the beach.

"We win!" Gou giggled, sticking her tongue out.

"That means you guys treat us to ice cream later! Suck it!" You spat.

Rei moaned with annoyance.

"Can we actually do ice cream another time?" Makoto uttered, typing on his phone. "Rin just invited us to swim at Samezuka Academy tonight."

Amazing... the creep.

"Why?" Haru spoke in his usual monotone voice.

"Do you not want to go? I thought you'd swim literally anywhere at anytime?" You questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Haru just shrugged and walked towards the sidewalk, knowing we would go anyways.

"Their friendship is weird," Makoto said, scratching the back of his head. "There was some stuff that went down last year and Rin has always been competitive with him, and now he's trying to get him to compete professionally."

I wonder what happened with the two of them?

"Let's go! I want to see Rin!" Nagisa yelled in his usual cheery voice.

Time Skip

The academy was evidently a wealthy school.

You stood on the deck in astonishment as you examined the clear salt water-filled pool. It cascaded around the modernized grey stoned deck you stood on. The roof was a skylight, revealing the pitch black night sky. The swimming equipment was in top-notch shape, along with all the clothing the swimmers wore.

"Holy..."

"It's pretty nice, isn't it?" Gou remarked as she watched the boys run off to socialize with the academy's swimmers. "I'm going to go find something to eat! Have fun!"

Why is she leaving me alone... fuck.

You pulled off your denim shorts and white cropped shirt to reveal your swimsuit. You then scurried off to where all the swimmers were gathered.

"Trust me I wi-"

You felt a hard surface come in contact with your face before you could finish your sentence.

You took a step backwards and looked up to notice it was someone's chest you ran into. You rubbed your forehead and looked up at a familiar unimpressionable maroon-haired boy.

"Names Ri-"

"Rin Matsuoka... I know."

"Aren't you a feisty one," he smirked, showing off his pointy shark-like teeth. "You're Iwatobi's newest recruit, right?"

"Yes, what of it?"

"Calm yourself, wasn't implementing anything." He laughed. "What's your name?"
