"Gou, I'm not wearing that silly thing."
"But it's a tradition for the annual Iwatobi summer festival to wear a kimono!" She whined, lifting up a pink flower-printed one from inside the bathroom.
"Do think I'm someone that would wear a kimono, especially that one. Not happening."
"Fine." She growled.
Gou shuffled out of her bathroom to reveal a bright red, pink and green kimono with embroidered with flowers and an orange wrap twisted around her waist. Her luscious hair was lifted up into a messy bun.
She strut a quick pose for you.
"What do you think?"
"You look great!" You smiled.
Gou giggled, while picking up her handbag and striding outside of her room. "Let's get going then, the boys are probably waiting for us there."
Time Skip
"They should be here by now, it's almost seven!" Gou babbled.
You looked around at the colourful lit-up stands and festival games. People of all ages swarming everywhere with delicious Japanese snacks. There was music coming from every direction.
But one stand in particular caught your attention.
A boy with dark raven hair was trying to take all the prizes that were fish in water-filled bags for himself. Then three boys jumped out of where pulling him away from the stand.
You rolled your eyes.
"Gou, I found them!" You remarked. "What the hell are you doing?"
They observed you both with astonishment.
"Gou, you look so pretty!" Nagisa exclaimed. "Why aren't you wearing a kimono, (Y/N)?"
"I wasn't feeling it."
"We're not wearing ours either." Makoto said, pointing to himself and Haru.
"What! I didn't even notice... at least Rei joined me!" Nagisa squeaked.
"You made me!" Rei declared.
You laughed under your breath, admiring the relationship those two had.
"Isn't that Rin?" Makoto acknowledged, looking past you to the right.
You stared past him to see a familiar devilish face in the distant crowd making eye contact with you. He was followed by two other boys side-by-side to him.
The boy with messy, straight red hair and a slight tan complexion darted past you, stopping right in front of Gou.
"Gou, you look so cute!"
"Thanks Momo," she answered unenthusiastically, ignoring him, and waving at Rin. "Now who wants to go get some kakigori! I have been craving it!"
"She said my name..." Momo whispered to himself with tears. "Also, I'm coming! Let's go Nitori!"
"But I don't want kaki-"
Momo cut off the shorter blue eyed and grey haired boy with straight bangs by grabbing his skinny wrist and following Gou.
