"I can't believe we're here after all the training!" Gou burst, tossing her clothes into the drawer next to her bed. "This year will be better than last year, I have a fee-"

Gou stopped talking and gawked at you worryingly.

"(Y/N)? Are you even listening to me?"

You stared blankly at the wall, not noticing she was speaking.

What's wrong with me? I seriously am messed up right now. I can't stop thinking about him.

"(Y/N)! What is the matter with you?"

You blinked several times at her, coming out from your daze.

"I'm just daydreaming!"

She raised a brow, but quickly went back to unpacking.

"Well, than let's get some rest before we head out to explore the nightlife of this city!" She gleamed.

You flew onto your soft white bed and dozed off with unwanted thoughts still lingering in your mind.

Time Skip

You were all roaming along the roads of a Japanese city that was filled with local businesses and street vendors.

"Everything smells incredible! I haven't eaten in hours." Makoto said.

You examined the restaurants and food stalls that lined the roads, oozing with scents of a variety of street food.

You wanted to try something new and different to make your tastebuds erupt. But you couldn't resist not getting your most desired platter.

"I will be getting ramen! No question." You smiled, thinking about the steaming bowl of noodles. "Anybody else want to come get some with me?"

"I saw a window at a restaurant with a tank of mackerel. I'm heading there." Haru implied, walking away.

"I'm sticking with something healthy today." Rei stated.

"I'll be joining, Rei." Gou added.

Everyone ended up separating to their desired locations.

You hurried over to the takeout shop and stood in line behind an older white-haired man ordering.

You suddenly felt an unsettling breeze from the alleyway right next to the food stall. You glanced down it, hearing a few deep voices whispering.

When the man in front of you walked away with his ramen, you shuffled to the vendor and ordered a large bowl.

She poured the steaming broth into a plastic container, then added the thick noddles in and stirred the veggies and meat into it.

You passed the money over to the vendor and she placed the warm container in between your palms.

You slowly stepped to the side, opening the lid of the ramen.

A scent of salty broth filled with juicy meat and veggies filled your nose.
