"Everyone be packed up for tomorrow, remember that the trip will be a couple days!" Gou explained.

She had been planning a trip to an island camp group that the team had stayed at last year to work on stamina in a specific training regiment.

It sounded entertaining, but you knew Gou was going to ensure we were exhausted by the end of it.

"The boat will be here bright and early to pick us up!" She yelled, giving all of us the death stare. "Be ready."

You shuddered looking at her expression.

"I'm here!" You belted out, sweat dripping from your forehead.

You placed your hands on your knees, breathing heavily from your intense run to the docks.

Out of all of the days I could have overslept, it had to be this one!

Gou glared a you, signalling you to on the boat. Your tiredness suddenly vanished as you joined the others, taking a seat next to Rei.

"You don't look very presentable, (Y/N)." Nagisa commented.

You stared angrily, making him whimper behind Makoto's large shoulders.

Suddenly, the engine roared from beneath the deck making you jump a bit. The whole boat began to shake and move away from the dock.

"Only three hours and we'll be in paradise!" Gou cheered.

Three hours... great.

You looked out at the rippling waves, leaning your elbow on the rim of the boat and resting your head on your hand.

May as well get as comfortable as I can.

"Wake up!" A cheery voice yelled.

You squinted up at the blinding sun peaking from the clouds in the sky. The boat had stopped in a different location from before. You lifted your body up from the padded seat and stepped out of the boat.

"We're here!" Nagisa chimed, running off to follow the rest of the group making their way to the beach to set up with all the gear lugged on their backs.

You stood in astonishment for a moment, looking at the island.

It's so beautiful, you thought, before skipping off towards everyone else.

The boys decided to set up camp near the same spot as last year.

"We'll start training tomorrow since it's sundown. We're going to try new routes in coves and reefs," Gou explained, picking up her bag and putting on her bright orange sunhat. "I'll be off then."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to sleep in a real bed!" She laughed, walking off towards the nearby hotel. "Good luck with the boys, (Y/N)."

You stood with a frown on your face.

Nagisa and Rei had begun setting up the fire pit while Makoto prepared dinner. Haru just sat on a log looking out at the ocean.

After the tents had been set up with the sleeping bags laid out inside, everyone gathered around the fire to enjoy the fish Makoto had just cooked up.

You all decided after dinner and a couple hours of socializing that we should get sleep for tomorrow.

"(Y/N), are you sure you'll be okay in the tent by yourself?" Makoto asked. "There's supposed to be rain later."

"I'm fine! Anyways, you're literally right next to me." You smiled, splashing some ocean water onto the fire.

It sizzled and smoke drifted up into the night sky.

Makoto nodded his head and entered the tent with the rest of the group. You were about to move into your tent, but realized you were in need of a drink before you went to sleep.

You grabbed your water bottle, filled it up and chugged it. You then slipped into your sleeping bag and within a short period of time you fell into the restlessness of sleep.

You jolted up from your slumber.

"(Y/N), drinking a lot of water before sleeping wasn't smart." You whispered, stomping out of the tent with a flashlight.

The sky was dark filled with looming clouds. The lush forest was barely visible from where you stood on the shore, but you needed to use the bathroom badly.

You walked towards the forest and could already hear spine-chilling sounds from every direction.

You began to feel drops of water fall onto your head from above.

Why now?

You realized there wasn't only going to be rain when you heard faint sounds of thunder in the distance. It soon started to pour and the wind became stronger as minutes passed by.

You completely forgot about why you were out here in the first place and how far you had walked in the forest.

You turned around trying to find which direction you came from, but you slammed into a towering silhouette. It made you trip over a pile of roots onto the ground.

You felt an intense pain burst through your knee cap. You touched the bloody gash and clenched your teeth together hard.

"Are you okay?" An unfamiliar voice asked.

You looked up to see the figure laying out a hand to help you.

"My names Sosuke Yamazaki."
