Love Actually and Happiness

Inspired and influenced by the films Love Actually, Once, Standby, and The Snapper as well as a few songs in my iTunes library.

Last week during spring break/for the first few days me and a few of my friends decided and planned a girls trip up to Fort Bragg up further north in North California

We stayed at this Student and Vegan friendly inn called Living Light Inn.

Let me tell you this place is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

The city is awesome for being such a small town

The inn is beautiful and VERY homey

The beach near by is absolutely

GORGEOUS!!!!!!

It's called Glass Beach.

Although I did not go down to where the sand and water was located

The view I got from staying at the top was absolutely gorgeous and soothing.

When my friends and I went it was quite cloudy and rained while we were there but that did not stop us from having a great time. :D

I love the rain and cloudy days though so I was completely okay with it not being sunny

The beach reminded me quite a bit of what I have seen in films and shows

Of what certain parts of Ireland look like and considering how it supposedly rains quite a bit over in Ireland and the UK (the two places I would LOVE to visit/stay/study)

With it being cloudy and raining slightly while we were there,

Added on to the beauty and feeling of me not being in the same country for a few days.

It was a WELL NEEDED trip for all of us for numerous reasons.

We didn't really do much while we were there except go to the beach and Denny's

Aside from playing Cards Against Humanity, Rat-a-tat Cat (a really fun kid game lol), and Never Have I Ever... in the room while eating and drinking (shh!! Jk lol...or am I O:-) lol)

Nah I'm just joking we had juice, water, and sodas from McDonald's and Safeway.

Anyway we bonded and got to know each other better and made numerous memories...

However, the trip wasn't all smiles and giggles...there were some down sides...

There was a breakup, issues in a relationship, the dealing with trying to controlling one's feelings/"get over a crush", the dealing with not being sure if one is still in a relationship or not, and possibly many other unknown and unsaid issues going on in our lives...

However, despite these little negative aspects we all were there for one another in some comforting way...we all helped each other...

I guess you can kind of say it was our own unique version of the film Crossroads...

Minus the pregnancy, male driver, add a few more girls, and a bit more changes and BOOM!

College Student version of Crossroads lol

While I was on this trip I was still trying to discover some sort of happiness...

I found a little bit of it while on the trip and figured a few things out for myself...
