Kellin's POV
I sighed and tapped my foot impatiently as Alan continued giving me rules.
"And don't give him too much sugar, don't let him touch alcohol-"
"I'm not going to give your son alcohol! He's ten!" I said exasperated.
"He's seven Kellin, seven!" Alan yelled and I shot Vic an annoyed look as he and Austin watched us.
"Alright, no alcohol, not too much sugar, anything else?"
"Don't let him out of your sight and don't swear in front of him, make sure he has a good lunch and have him home so we can all have dinner."
"Is there a specific time?" I asked him.
"Like six preferably. And he's allergic to chocolate so he can't have any either and keep him hydrated and he can have one pop. And please if you do a lot of running here is his inhaler. He doesn't need it a lot but just in case." he said handing me the inhaler which I shoved in my pocket.
"Is that it?"
"Yeah that's it. I'll go get Josh."
"Fucking finally," Vic muttered.
"I know, Alan gets like this when he goes almost anywhere." Austin said when Alan was gone.
"I see," I mumbled. "Well I swear, we'll take good care of Josh and if not, you can tattoo loser on Vic's forehead."
"What!?" My husband yelled.
"Deal but hopefully it won't."
"I'm a doctor, that'll fuck it all up!" Vic whined.
"Then make sure nothing happens to my son," Austin said. "Simple as that."
"The only thing that's going to happen is Josh is going to have the best day ever while he skips school with his favorite uncles," I said as Alan and Josh came back downstairs.
"So what are your plans today?" Alan asked holding Josh close to him.
I smiled and looked at Josh, "What do you want to do today? It's all about you. The only rules your mother gave us is no chocolate, no bungee jumping and you can only have one soda oh and we have to be back before dinner." I told him.
"Uh I like giraffes." Josh said, "Can we go to the zoo!?"
"Of course!" I exclaimed. "We can go to the zoo, we can even see your mama's family there, the monkeys!"
Alan slapped my shoulder, "Really?"
"Mama, you said hitting is mean," Josh said disapprovingly.
"Yeah Alan, hitting is mean."
"Right, right. Kellin I'm sorry." He said smiling.
"That's more like it," I sniffed and looked over at Vic who was talking to Austin. "Honey? You ready to go?"
He nodded and stood, "Of course, anywhere away from Austin. He's trying to bully me into getting my tattoo now."
"Alright, have fun and be safe. Do not walk away from Uncle Vic and Kellin, alright?" Alan told Josh and got down to his knees giving him a big hug.
"I won't Mama, I'll see you later," Josh said and pulled away from Alan before coming over to Vic and I.
"We'll make sure to feed him and be back by six," Vic told him once more before we left.
"Love you Josh!" Alan shouted from the doorway.
"Love you too, Mama!"
I giggled and rolled my eyes as we got to Melinda and I helped him in, "Your Mama is ridiculous. I say you can have as many cokes as you want, it'll just be our little secret okay?"
