Chapter 10

Austin's POV

I planted kisses on Alan's neck over and over again. He wasn't feeling so hot today and I was extremely worried about him. He'd thrown up a few times today and was constantly coughing all day.

"I'm gonna go make the kids lunch." I said kissing his forehead.

He nodded, "Okay I think I'm just gonna sleep."

"Alright, I love you."

"I love you too."

I smiled at him and headed downstairs.

"Mom!" Finn whined

"What?" I asked and picked him up.

"Josh won't play with me!"

"Aw, why not?" I asked him.

"I don't know! He locked me out of our room. So I don't get any toys."

"Well, let's go talk to him okay?"

"Okay, but I'm hungry."

"What do you want? Food or toys?"

"I want food first and so does Charlie."

"Let's get some lunch then."

"Can we have PB&J's?"

"Of course."

He squealed and ran off and shouted at Charlie. I laughed and went to the kitchen and made up the sandwiches. I place the food on the table.

"Charlie, Finn!" I called.

The two ran in excitedly and jumped into their seats.

"I'll be right back you two, so eat up." I said kissing each of their heads and heading up to Josh's room.

I knocked on the door softly, "Josh."

"What?" I heard him mumble.

"Let me in." I said trying the door but it was locked.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't wanna. You and mama ruined my life."

"How did we do that?" I asked him.

I didn't get answer from him but the door swung open. I looked down at him and he was looking up at me with anger.

"You called my school!" He shouted, "You ruined my life!"

"Baby we were just worried about you," I said, crouching down to his level.

"No you ruined everything."

"How? What happened?"

"They found out about it and it got worse just like I told you!" He shouted, "Now get out of my room."

"You're not going to talk to me like that Josh."

"Too bad! You and mama ruined my life and now I have to pay for it! You guys- you guys fucking suck!"

I glared at him in disbelief, "We did not ruin your life Joshua, we did what we did because we're worried about you and we're going to do everything we can to take care of this. But that does not mean you have the right to curse do you understand me?"

"I don't care! You and mama are the worst parents on the planet!" He shouted shutting his door on me and locking it.

"Joshua Robert!"

"Go away Mom! I hate you!" He yelled.

"No you don't!"

"Yes I do! I hate you and I hate mama!"
