just the beginning

beware this story shows mature parts only if you can handle them you can read them.

peridot started waking up sickly nearly every day. Steven though took care of her.

later on first month she started to show a baby bump in her stomach. garnet would come with excitement to take care of peridot with Steven. peridot would usually be hungry.

peridot,Steven, and garnet were walking in the forest to collect leaves,flowers, and crystals just then a corrupt monster jump in the way. peridot freaked out and Steven and garnet attacked the monster. peridot felt relieved at least she felt as in passing out again and passed out. Steven thought peridot was getting heavier.

at 3rd month peridot's belly got bigger.she also became more tired and decided to stay in the cave. Steven would protect her,and garnet would start weaving clothes for the baby gemling.

in the fourth month peridot now needed more food so garnet would bring from the market of beach city food for peridot. she also needed more naps and she cried and got angry for no reason.

peridot on her fifth month she would like to walk with steven and she felt the baby kick a said" Steven put your hand here". as he placed his hand on her swollen stomach he felt their baby kick inside her. "lets go tell garnet" said Steven," yeah lets" said peridot. they ran as fast as they could, but peridot said to stop for a second or else she'll get tired and fall and hurt the baby. so they stopped and later they ran to the cave to tell garnet. once they made it garnet looked surprised. peridot then said" put your hand here garnet"
garnet then put her hand on peridot's swelled belly and felt the baby kick. so garnet said" that baby is going to be healthy."
Steven and peridot hugged each other with happiness.

on 6th month peridot's stomach swelled more. she needed more bathroom breaks than before,she also worried about the birth.

on 7th month she and Steven make a video tape about their life on the beach and how beautiful it was. garnet was also included.

on 8th month peridot mostly slept and lay down due her swollen stomach being big and couldn't handle it that much cause it was very swelled. she did talk to Steven and garnet and walked in the beach.

on her 9th month she felt she was going to explode cause of her swelled stomach. Steven and garnet had to watch her in case the labor begins. they had every thing prepared the blankets, bottles, crib, baby clothes, toys, etc. peridot was nearly the end of her pregnancy. she was taking a nap and Steven and garnet were watching her. they were tired a decided to look at the ocean when they heard a sudden movement from peridot. they saw she was raping her hands on her swollen stomach with pain in her eyes. they knew exactly what was happening.

so Steven and garnet positioned her were to lay down Steven was holding peridot's hand and garnet was ready for the delivery. peridot then screamed throughout her tears " it hurts" as she felt pain down. Steven then said" it will soon be over after you deliver the baby" then Steven gave her a kiss  in her gem." peridot push" instructed garnet .she did as she was told while squeezing Steven's hand." I see the head" said garnet" now again" peridot then did it again after she breath. "breath peridot breath" said Steven" one more push peridot "said garnet she gave one more breath,screamed and pushed one more time and felt the pain leave her. peridot and Steven heard a cry from the baby." its a girl" said garnet peridot and Steven looked at their daughter" she inherited Steven's body color and brown curly hair. her gem was in her forehead just like her mother it was round like stevens but green like peridots.

"she looks beautiful" said peridot " yeah" really beautiful said Steven. "what shall we name her" said Steven." tourmaline",said peridot." topaz"said Steven." "no too it's too ugly "said peridot." how about Stephen"asked garnet. "garnet that is a beautiful name" said Steven"also her second name should be Rosie". "yeah" said peridot and garnet. then the baby started crying more, Steven and garnet didn't know what to do,but peridot did she stand up weakly and grabbed the baby and without asking she pulled down her shirt down a bit and let the baby find her nipple and she soon started to drink her food.

(she changed her clothes for slippers and a soft shirt and shorts)

garnet and Steven stared with a blush in their faces. they were going to take care of the baby and live on the island even if it meant for the other gems to get angry with garnet, peridot,Steven and if they learned about their baby named Stephen Rosie Universe.
