I am terrified of this

dark thing that sleep in me.

I jerk Frisk to the side, both of us hitting the ground to avoid the vine. I throw a wall of bones up, deflecting two green tendrils as I get to my feet.

"Flowey, what are you doing?" Frisk gasps as she gets up. Her eyes wide and focusing on the demonic flower. I have my hands out in front of me, ready to throw more bones or even use blue magic.

Vines keep sprouting from the ground, withering as they surround the main stem. Flowey shakes his yellow petals.

"Just reset Frisk, it will make this easier." He says, his voice gaining a sharp, hateful edge.

"No. Please, Flowey, stop this. You can come with us to the surface. I'll take care of you." She pleads.

"Frisk," I say, not liking this flower in general. I know what he's done. So does Frisk, yet she offers mercy. She always offers mercy.

Flowey simply bares his fang filled smile, before launching his vines at us. I shout Frisk's name as I send up another barricade of bones to the right of us. One vine crashes into it. From the corner of my eye socket I catch a vine digging up through the ground between Frisk and I. She lunges away as it shoots forward, ready to stab clean through her.

I turn around, focusing on Flowey. I reach a hand out and focus on the flower, my blue magic about to get a hold of him before a vine knocks me away. I tumble forward, hitting my own wall of bones. My skull vibrating as I take the impact on my mandible.

"G!" The beautiful voice calls my name, and I hear heavy breathing as the owner more likely dodges green tendrils.

Come on, focus. Get rid of the stupid flower. I need to get Frisk to the surface. No matter what.

The bone walls disappear and I stagger to my feet.

"Just stay down, you abomination!" Flowey hisses.

I focus my energy, summoning Gaster Blasters. Memories tugging in my mind of their use, how to properly deploy this weaponry. The flower's face drops slightly, not quite fear, but absolute absent of fear.

Detachment. Apathy.

The floating horned skulls appear by my side, and with my outstretch hand, gold energy gathers in their mouth.

"Don't hurt him, please!" Frisk begs, rushing to my side. I glance away from Flowey, focusing on her. Then, I watch a green vine smack into Frisk's side. A second later a gold beam of energy from a Gaster Blaster evaporates the vine. She's thrown far, rolling to a stop along the ground.

"FRISK!" I shout, as she stays still. I barley turn just as a vine hits me, knocking me to the ground. I grunt, throwing up another Gaster Blaster, and aiming it at the demonic flower. It fires, but Flowey disappears into the ground a moment before the beam hits.

I get to my feet, destroying another vine. I race to Frisk, my soul being suffocated with dread. I reach her body which rests on the side, her back to me. Just as I reach a hand out to touch her, her arms shoot out and push me away.

"G... run." Her voice gasps, but when her face turns to me, red irises greet me. Her hands move to her skull, strangled squeaks and chopped laughter escaping her lips.
