There is peaceful.
There is wild.
I am both at the same time.

☼Frisk
It's been fourteen years since I've broken the barrier. Fourteen years since the monsters have come and lived on the surface with the humans. Fourteen years since I become their ambassador and helped monsters and humans live alongside each other.
These have been the best fourteen years of my life.
The T.V. flickers from zombie to zombie, showing the grisly survives hacking each one up. Sans always points and mocks the main macho hero. Making a pun about zombies and being brain dead.
I laugh, and I drop popcorn into Sans open mouth. He chews it, and I feel his mandible move against my thigh. He takes up most of the couch with his body, then again, it's a rather small couch. I'm leaning against the arm rest, one hand holding the popcorn bowl, and the other stroking Sans's skull absentmindedly as I watch the gore fest continue on the T.V.
Sans shifts on the couch, his skull looking up at me. He bears a bigger grin than usual.
"What did everybody say about the big zombie party?"
I look down at him, trying to control my smile, "What?"
"It was dead and full of stiffs!"
I snort before my body begins shaking with laughter. Sans keeps grinning up at me, his lighted pupils relaxed.
"That was terrible, babe." I tell him after calming myself down.
"You laughed," he smirks up at me.
"I know," I smile back down at him. "But that's only because your just so sansational."
He takes a moment before he begins laughing, he has to sit up, and clutch at his body. I can't help but keep smiling because that was pretty good for me. Sans is usually the one with all the puns, but I occasional get a good one in.
He shifts, so he's sitting up, and right next to me. The glow from the T.V. the only light in the room. It lights up his skull, and that grin gets me every time. Placing the popcorn bowl down, I shift on the couch too.
I turn, and slid my leg over Sans lap. He blinks as I get position on his lap, facing him. My legs bent on either side of Sans as he reaches to grab my hips, making sure I don't accidentally fall backwards.
"Whoa, feeling a little Frisky?" He grins up at me, due to my being four inches taller than him now that I'm grown.
"Yeah, a little. I just want you," I drop my voice, whispering delicately. I place both hands on his shoulder, but move my right upwards. Trailing my fingers along his neck before cupping his cheekbone.
"I want you too, sunshine." He whispers.
Sunshine, that name makes me shiver every time. He feels it too, because he clutches my hips tighter. I love being his sunshine.
I lean forward, and press my lips against his skull. His magical bones moving to cover his teeth, and form a kiss as best as he can. Although he can't exactly kiss me back, I feel his energy well enough to know that's what he's doing.
My lips part for me to breathe, and I lean back. My eyes are still closed, and I take a moment to just feel him underneath me. His bones, his blue coat. Everything. I open my eyes back up, and he's staring right back at me. A small smile on his teeth.
"Frisk..." He whispers.
"Yeah?" I breathe out.
"I love you."
I lean forward, and press my forehead against his skull. My eyes are closed, and I can feel his breath brushing across my skin.
"I love you, too."
He clutches me closer, and I wrap my arms around him. I shift so I'm leaning right up against him. My head resting on his shoulder, against the white fur of his hood. His hands move from my hips and wrap around my waist.
I want to stay here, like this, forever. After so many years of being Sans friend, I realize we could be something more. I am mature now, and I love him like I never had before.
He was there for me as a kid, he was my friend. That's what I needed then. When I turn nineteen, and I saw Sans as more than just my friend, as something more... I had to tell him how I really felt. That was the beginning of this whole thing. And now here we are, in our own apartment, holding each other tight.
These have been the best fourteen years of my life.
I pull away from the hug, and look back at Sans, smiling. He grins back. I lean in for another kiss, moving my hand to his skull, ready.
Chara.
I stiffen, pulling away from the kiss.
"Frisk?" Sans asks.
No... no, no, no.
"Sans, they're back. It's happening—Ah!" I scream, clutching at my head as pain erupts from my mind.
"Frisk!" Sans says my name, but I jerk away, sinking to the floor. His laughs fill my head, and the fight begins.
"Sans," I gasp out, as he kneels beside me, trying to figure out what's wrong.
He attacks me with everything, completely overwhelming me. I'm not ready. I'm not prepared. He's supposed to be gone for good.
"Chara..." I hiss out in pain, still clutching my head in my hands. Sans stills at this, but I hardly notice through the pain.
He attacks one last time, completely throwing me to the side. I shout at him to stop, but it's too late. My hands drop to the side. Looking up at Sans, my eyes open wide. A sinister smiling taking over my features.
No! Sans, run! Stop, please!
"Hey, Sansy." My voice speaks out, but it's not me. "Long time no see."
I'm completely pushed away as Chara takes completely control over my body. Nightmares flash through my mind of killing so many monsters. Dust covering my hands. Sans attacking my body.
And I couldn't do anything but scream silently.
Chara takes advantage of Sans shock and pushes him away. Bolting up right, he runs away.
A laugh rips through my throat, and it makes me shiver in fear.
Hey, Frisk. Did-ya miss me?
