The judgement hall is the same as it's always been. Lighted windows, long corridor, columns lining its walls. Nobody says a word, but the tension is touchable.

Frisk shifts, clutching Flowey's new pot closer to her, and tightens her grip on my hand. I kiss her bangs, then we continue forward. I can feel Frisk's muscle, tight and tense. We're all waiting. Maybe for the earth to swallow us up, or maybe for the walls to fall apart.

We make it out of the judgement hall. Entering the flower filled throne room, it seems that everyone holds their breath. Passing through, we get to the room before the entrance to the surface.

As I let go of the air I was holding, Frisk's hand leaves mine. As I look up at her, a pot is shoved into my hands.

"G," She says, before she looks up at me with ruby irises.

I swear under my breath, as I put Flowey on the ground. He yells Frisk's name. It's too late, Chara smiles before darting to the side. Easily avoiding my bone attack.

He ducks back into the throne room as I ready another bone attack, my mind racing as to how I can trap him without hurting her.

"G, wait!" Flowey shouts, but whatever else he was going to say is lost as I follow Chara.

He's rushing straight for the throne, and I throw a bone to block his path. He barely avoids colliding with it, and knocks the throne over. I summon another bone, throwing it at her head. He ducks, sliding to the ground. Rushing around the bone I've thrown before, I summon another one in my hand. Using it like a club, I raise it but stop dead when I caught sight of Chara.

The glint of light shining off the metal hits my eye sockets. Chara's smile is wide, as he kneels on the floor, holding it only a few inches from her throat.

"Now that I've got your attention, can I ask you something?" Her voice twisted.

My teeth grind together as my fingers grip the club tightly. How did he get that knife in here? Did he hide it while torturing Flowey?

"How long do you think it will take for her to bleed out?" He asks sweetly?

"Chara," I warn. "She won't reset if you kill her." He must know this.

"Oh I know. That's why I'm not going to kill her. At least not—" He suddenly cuts off, her eyes going wide. The blood colored irises glinting strangely.

The laughing starts off quiet, small. As the seconds trickle by, it grows into insanity. When he finally focuses back on me, his smile makes my bones tremble.

"Frisk isn't here anymore. Either way, she's going to reset." He smiles, moving the knife away from her throat.

I relax slightly, still baring the bone in my hand. "What do you mean she isn't here—NO!"

He turns the knife and plunges it into her stomach, right below the ribcage. He starts laughing once again, watching the bright red liquid pool onto her skin.
