Suga slowly wakes, and is surprised to find Daichi laying beside him. Although, he isn't merely laying beside him. Daichi is laying close to him... Daichi is cuddling with him, with one arm around him that was likely used to pull him closer. Suga is happy. Suga is happy to have met some so kind... He is happy to have met someone that is willing to help the crow-people... He is happy to have met someone that is able to ward away the nightmares.
But he is also sad. He knows that he can't stay. That he must go back to his people. He must let his people know that he is alright... He must make sure that his people are alright.
He needs to be in the forest to calm his people...
But needs to be here to save his people.
He wishes that there were two of him. He wishes that there were two of him to share the work so he didn't feel like he was stretched thin. With a small sigh, he has his head rest against Daichi's chest, so he can hear the steady beating of Daichi's heartbeat. The steady beat, and the overall reliable vibe that he gives off calms him.
"Oh, sorry," a sleepy sounding Daichi mumbles upon waking up.
"It's fine," Suga says, with a small frown. Suga can't help much notice how much colder he feels once Daichi gets off the couch, and walks into the kitchen. The change in temperature, along with the lingering thoughts of all the things that he needs to do, makes him shiver.
"Daichi," Suga says, with a small sigh, "I need to go back... I need to let everyone know that I'm okay. I need to make sure they are okay. I need to see how much more damage the construction crews have done."
Daichi emits a short sigh before replying. "Okay... Do you want some breakfast before you go?" Daichi isn't surprised when Suga responds with a 'no.' "Your animal skins or clothes... Whatever you want to call them are in the bathroom if you want to change back." With a small nod, Suga walks over to the bathroom.
After closing the bathroom door, Suga sighs yet again. Just thinking about everything he must do, and how many people depend on him... It scares him. It stresses him out. As he changes, he isn't surprised to find that more of his feathers have fallen out. He really wishes that his feathers would stop falling out... He wishes that he wasn't so scared, so tired, and so stressed... He wishes that his parents were still alive. He wishes that the humans would stop destroying his forest, and hurting those who call it home. Oh how he wishes...

Suga isn't surprised to find Daichi sitting on the couch, waiting for him, when he emerges from the bathroom. "I try my best to get all of the traps, but as you've seen, I always end up missing a few..." As he speaks, he stands up and walks over to Suga. "Take this," he says, placing a pocketknife in one of Suga's pale hands. "That way you can cut yourself down. Of course you won't need it if you're flying, but it's still raining so I assumed that you were going to be walking..." Before Suga can say anything, Daichi also hands him his jacket. "Take it, I have another one."
Suga puts the pocketknife into one of the jacket pockets before he putting the jacket on. The jacket, as he remembers, is incredibly soft on the inside. And the smell... He can immediately smell Daichi. The smell mostly seems to consists of pine needles and soap... But there is something else. He isn't sure what it is... It's just Daichi, or a part of Daichi. "Don't worry, I'll be careful, Dad," Suga says, with a smirk. "But seriously, thanks Daichi..."
Within a matter of seconds, he is no longer in the cabin.
Within a matter of seconds, he is walking into the woods...
He's walking into the woods, wearing Daichi's jacket. Thanks to the jacket's warmth and smell, it feels as though Daichi is walking with him... As though Daichi is right next to him. The very idea brings a smile to his face. Thanks to Daichi, not much, but some of his stress has melted away...
He isn't sure how long he walks...
He isn't sure how far he walks...
When he comes across it.
A trap. The trap is different than the one he had gotten trapped in... It is made of metal, and has angry, sharp teeth. It's seems to scream 'turn around or face your death.'
Suga faces death, but not his. For, inside the trap... For, killed by the trap is raccoon. And not just any raccoon... It's a baby raccoon. With blurry vision caused by tears, Suga uses a stick to pry the trap open and pull the raccoon out. After doing so, he uses the stick to make the trap close. The trap chomps down on the stick, and makes the end of it shatter into tiny fragments.
The fragments can't even compare to the fragments of Suga's heart. "You poor baby," Suga wails, clutching the raccoon to his chest, "What did you deserve to die that way? What did any of us do to deserve this?"
/I'm actually going to leave the notes because I'm too lazy to delete them. I added a pic to the last note because I ended up finding another one :3/
