Enter The Wraiths

The four rushed down the stairs to find a chaotic sight. Glasses were shattered, the room was almost void of people except for a few dead bodies, the turntables and equipment were burnt, and the pole was gone, possibly taken from the bar.

Concorde decided to head for the door as fast as possible, and all of them agreed. However, as they reached the door way, the wraiths appeared.

"So this is the Chosen One we were sent to kill," Morgana began.

"I believe so," Caitlyn replied, readying her rifle.

"Who are you?" Concorde asked.

"We are the Lunar Wraiths," Morgana said, "I am Morgana, Aspect of the Wolf."

"And I am Caitlyn," the sharpshooter said, cocking her rifle, "Aspect of the Snake."

"And what are you here for?" Concorde asked.

"Her mother," Morgana replied.

"She is not my mother anymore," Daughter replied.

"I mean, Mistress Hourglass," Morgana replied, "knows that you are here looking for the one they call Illoaide."

"And in order to prevent that from happening, she has sent us to kill you," Caitlyn added, cocking her rifle and aiming. The laser sight aimed right for Concorde's chest and, getting the message, the elf equipped his Holyore staff and sent an energy blast, a shockwave of light, sound and electricity erupting from his body.

It knocked the two wraiths off their feet and disarmed Caitlyn; the bullet was fired and it went through the ceiling.

"Now's our chance!" Cirrus exclaimed, "Run!"

And with that, the four ran out of the bar. The wraiths got up, and after noticing that Concorde and his party were gone, they disappeared in a flash.

Concorde and company were running through the busy streets of Lower Hereafter towards a red palace when Daughter saw the two wraiths in pursuit. And thus began the high speed chase through hell that you readers would have to imagine for yourselves.
