The three arrived outside a set of large silver doors guarded by a winged bouncer. Faint noises of loud music floated out through the doors.

"Hey you!" the bouncer said to a drunken sprite, "You're too young, go home!" The sprite did just that and fled, but not before replying with "You'll never take me alive, sucker!"

The bouncer then turned to the trio. He saw Umbra, and his face lightened up.

"Back here again, necrospirit?" he asked. "Welp," Umbra replied, "I'm still a regular here." The bouncer laughed, and said, "She would be pleased to see you. Who are your friends behind you?"

"These are two of the Chosen Ones destined to defeat The Broken Thread aka Mistress Thania Hourglass," Umbra said, "Daughter Wysteria Hourglass, Chosen of Life and Concorde Olmallotor-Larethian, Chosen of Fate."

"But what brings you live folks to the Hereafter?" the bouncer asked.

"Illoaide Normandall, the other Chosen of Fate," Umbra replied, "was killed by the Mistress herself, and we plan to get her back."

"I see," the bouncer replied, "Step inside and talk to my boss. She is a great savant on the Chosen and the Legend."

He opened the door, revealing a very very large room with a lot of strobe lights, spotlights and lasers. People were dancing and raving as a jorōgumo stripper was entertaining them with her pole-dancing, her two hands and eight legs (not Illoaide, mind you) gracefully doing manouevres on the pole in the center of the "dance floor". At its right was the bar where a male dark elf was doing bartending tricks to a host of mermaids and their merman husbands and/or mutuals. At its left was a series of very clean unisex bathrooms for different species (because being a brothel, lovemaking cases there are high and chances of this act are very very high).

Behind the dance floor, a Jorōgumo deejay was spinning the night away. An Oriental blondie resembling a K-POP artist from the waist up, and an Argiope orb-weaver with a color scheme consisting of shades of red and white and quite a large behind that men would stare at (but few ever did) from the waist down she was, and a white shirt and red beret she wore.

She was standing at the wall while her hands were intricately spinning the beats and the turntables, creating music that enabled the people to rave the night away, if there was such a thing called  night in Lower Hereafter.

The trio entered the massive crowd of dancing spirits and Hereafter Inhabitants. Umbra led the way and Daughter Wysteria Hourglass held onto his shoulders, following him. Concorde stayed at Umbra's left, not risking to stay behind Daughter; he's entirely devoted to Illoaide and a respectable elf, and no respectable elf would grab the rear of a lady in a perverse manner. The striptease dance looked at Concorde in a seductive manner, but he never looked nor wavered, following the two towards the turntables.

They reached the turntables and saw the rose red eyes of the DJ busy with the turntables.

"Hey Cirrus!" Umbra called, but the deejay did not reply.

"Hey, Cirrie!" Umbra called out again but the Jorōgumo did not lift her eyes.
"Cirrie!" Umbra shouted over the loud music, but the DJ did not look nor pay attention to them.

It was then that Daughter felt irritated, and she snapped with a loud "H-E-Y!"

The DJ jumped in surprise, and fell to the floor.

"Yes," she asked.

"Cirrus, is it?" Daughter replied, "We need to talk."

Noticing the several tattooed symbols on her body, Cirrus stopped the music, and told the three, "Come with me!"
