Warped

Madi's POV

               Lynn looked better rested seeing her sitting down watching the movie. She looked adorable. Her legs were crossed with a bowl of cereal was held close up at her chest while she watched eagerly. She was obviously liking the movie which was good.

    I adjusted myself on the couch and glanced back over to the TV to where Esther is talking to Max in sign language. That would be cool to learn in my opinion.

  Movie is over now

    The movie was finally over and Ruby was already scrolling for another movie to watch. Lynn was cleaning out her cereal bowl in the kitchen sink. I got up off the couch to go into the kitchen seeing Lynn drying off the bowl. She was so pretty.

"There's a party two days from now if you want to come with me and bring Ruby if you want. It's for Jack Barakat."

     How did she know I walked in? But whoa Jack Barakat. I'm meeting too many cool people.

"Sure that sounds fun. Did you want to go for real?" I asked. I didn't want to go to a party she had no interest in. It would feel right.

   "Yes I do want to go. Don't worry." She said while turning around with a small smile.

  "What did you think of the movie?" Ruby came in and asked Lynn.

       "It was really good. I don't know many movies that involve a type of plot twist like that." Lynn answered with a smile.

"I know right? It's a very original and creative movie in my opinion. The actress now is super hot though." Ruby added giving Lynn and I wiggly eyebrows.

We all laughed and had more small talk over the movie and Lynn told Ruby about the party.

      "Sounds awesome. One thing we MUST bring." Ruby said making sure to emphasize the must part.

    "We have to bring booze. Like a lot of it." Ruby stated which got an approving nod from Lynn.

    "That's true. Jack said this was going to be 'the party of the year'. Even though he always makes each year better and better." Lynn answered.

"We could pick up bottles of whiskey and wine. Maybe some rum too. From the bar and store full of alcohol 5 minutes from here." I told them adding to their conversation and they both agreed to do that.

      "Alright sounds like a plan." Lynn said.

{okay so I know these chapters are getting REALLY REALLY SHORT but trust me the next chapter will be worth it. The PARTY WILL COMMENCE.
