Warped

Madi's POV

"I had to tell Lynn everything that happened this morning was nothing." I said to Ruby as she looked at me in disbelief.

Yes I told Ruby about this morning because she's my best friend and we tell each other everything.

"Why? Give me one good reason." Ruby argued.

"How about the fact that she's been going through a depression? Or also she just got out of a serious relationship? Or maybe even that I don't know if I actually love her or not?" I argued back with her.

"I said give me one not three but fine, I see your point I guess." Ruby stated in defeat.

  I gave an exasperated sigh and tried to relax into the chair.

  I saw Ruby give worried glances at me from time to time as my body continued to stay tense.

"How did Lynn take it?" Ruby whispered almost.

"Very well actually. I mean she gave me a thumbs up and no hassle so I guess she must have felt that it was nothing too." I stated with a bit of disappointed behind it.

       "Oh hun." I heard Ruby say as she pulled me into a long side hug for comfort.

    Soon a knock was heard at the door that sparked some curiosity in me. I broke away from Ruby and strode to the door to see Alex and Brian outside.

I open the door with a welcoming smile to the two.

      "Hey guys what's up?" I said to them as I gestured for them to enter. They walked past me looking around.

    "Nice place, we came to see if you guys were coming to the party?" Alex complimented and soon asked.

    "What party?" Ruby sparked the question.

  "A party we told Lynn about, she said she was going to ask you guys if you wanted to come later." Brian answered.

"Lynn didn't mention a party." I said as more of a statement to myself more than to Brian and Alex.

"Wait, where is she?" Brian asked.

"Downstairs. Why?" I asked them back.

They both smiled at each other and began laughing. Ruby and I waited for them to calm down to explain.

        "She probably passed out from the workout we gave her at the gym." Alex laughed out to explain to us.

    "Where's the downstairs?" Brian soon asked.

I pointed to a door, Alex and Brian went to walk over to it and head down with Ruby and I behind them.

       When we got down there we all huddled around a door to see Lynn cuddled up onto the mattress in pure comfort and silence.

      She looked so calm. She wasn't even laying on the bed really. She had sprawled out on her stomach with her arms ahead of her on the mattress with her face on it's side. Her waist made it to the mattress but her legs laid off of it but yet she was still comfortable.

   I laughed a little to myself as I saw Brian and Alex grin mischievously to one another. What are they gonna do?

"Let's give her until 6:30 at most. The party doesn't start until 7 and it's 5 now." Brian whispered over to Alex.

"Works for me." Alex responded and we all went back up stairs quietly.

1 hour later      Lynn POV

        Isabelle and I were talking about something, I couldn't remember what but I was talking. That's all I could tell. We were both walking around town but when I looked away from Isabelle I saw Alexa smirking at me.
