Warped

Madi POV

       I scrolled through my phone after sending Lynn my photo. I roll out of bed stretching and land onto the floor.

  Walking downstairs I see that Ruby is still downstairs. "Hey Rubes." I say while leading myself over to a chair.

   "Hey." She said with a focused face on the tv that was hooked up to her computer.

  "Something wrong?" I ask with a laugh looking at the tv screen.

"Isn't that our town gym?" She asked while pointing at a photo that was on our screen.

"I think so, why?" I answer seeing that it was Isabelle Fuhrman in the gym photo.

"It was on her Instagram and didn't Lynn go to the gym or something?" She asked again.

"Yea. What are you getting at?"

"We should ask Lynn for an autograp- OH" Ruby interrupted herself. "She posted a new photo!"

She went to her notifications with her wireless mouse and clicked on Isabelle Instagram that was first with a 1 next to it. Oh my god.

"Lynn!?" Ruby said in disbelief.

  It was Lynn and Isabelle in Lynn's car. Isabelle was taking the selfie and was wearing a pink sports bra with sunglasses and her hair up. I couldn't see what pants she was wearing.

   Lynn had her hair up as well with a couple strands hanging down with her tongue out. She looked adorable but a pang of jealousy hit me seeing Lynn with Isabelle.

I mean Isabelle is so much prettier and healthier and all that than me and what if Lynn likes her more. I mean Isabelle has been known to date girls.

  "Madi you okay?" Ruby asked me as I looked back over to her and gave her a smile.

"Of course." I say and look back at the caption of the photo.

'Lunch break from workout then back at it! #workoutbuddies #lunch #newbff'

Okay so they only went for lunch that's all. Maybe I could try working out with Lynn. She might like me more if she notices how athletic I can be. Maybe.

I pull my phone out and look for Lynn's contacts and open it up to call her.

  Ruby looks over at me quizzically and I show Lynn's contact while the phone rings quickly and she nods.

After a few more rings there's an answer.

Hello?

Hey Lynn.

Hey what's up?

Later tonight do you want to go back to the gym and workout with me?

Sure I guess as long as I'm not too tired

She laughed a bit and earned one from me. Her laugh was so cute.

Alright how about at 8 maybe? Will you be back by then?

Most certainly. See you in a couple hours. Ruby still there?

Yea.

Alright well I'll see ya then bye.

Bye.

   She hung up and so did I. I guess I better dig out some old fitness clothes.
