Oh Bailey... Enjoy

"Bailey what are you doing back here," I frown when the little girl walks in my room and takes a seat at the foot of the bed.

"I wanted to see you," she shrugs.

"Where are your parents?" I ask.

"My dad is here, my momma doesn't care," she shrugs again.

Do they know you're here?" I ask even though I know the answer.

"No," she simply says.

"I want to meet your parents," I frown.

"My mom almost never comes, she just leaves me here. My dad is always here but he's busy," I see her smile falter.

'What is going on with this little girl?'

"Can I stay here with you for a while?" She asks.

"Yes," I smile.

"Can we play?" She perks up.

"What do you want to play?" I chuckle.

"Hmmm... Doctor!" She jumps up and down excitedly.

"Alright," I agree.

'She was so cute!'

....

"Okay Miss. Shabubu I have fixed all of your boo boos and I have you your shot, you are good to go for now but I have to give you surgery," she scribbles down on the board that she found in the room.

"Oh Doctor do I have to get surgery?" I play along.

"Yes, or else you will die," she gasps playfully.

"Okay Doctor," I  pout.

"I will be back tomorrow for your surgery and make sure you stay safe and healthy or else it will be a disaster for me," she grumbles.

"I will Doctor," I try to contain my laugh.

"Good," she fixes her lab coat which was actually my white blanket.

"Ugh what is going on?" David says when him and Damien walk in.

"I need surgery," I chuckle.

"And I'm going to do it!" Bailey raises her hand.

"Don't worry it's just pretend," she whispers out loud.

"In that case Doctor Bailey I need you to help me with my cuts and bruises," Damien smiles as he sits down on the chair.

"Stay still, I just finished with Miss. Shabubu," she goes to the other side of the room and places the clipboard down on one of the other chairs.

"Shabubu?" David asks clearly lost on what is going on.

"That would be me," I smile.

He shakes his head but comes in anyways.

"Alright Mr. Buttlercut what is the problem?" Bailey walks back to Damien and inspects him.

'Buttlercut?'

...

"You are making a lot of progress, we can take some of the trying Medicean away for now," Doctor Guiterez says impressed.

"Really?" I gawk.

"Yes, we'll see what happens but remember cancer is not something we can control so you still have to take some of the medics that is prescribed to you," he nods.
