"This is your first party!" Holly shrieks.

I closed my eyes, rethinking what I had just done.

'Oh boy.'

"Yes," I groan.

"I'm coming! I have to make you pretty!" The background sounds like she's running around.

"Am I not pretty?" I chuckle.

"Girl I will make you so irresistible, that your boyfriend will have to fight off other guys to make sure they don't get to you," she says with attitude.

"Alright I'll see you in a bit," I hang up and lay in bed.

"Sweetheart!" My dad calls me from the living room.

"Coming!" I yell in reply and hurry there.

"What's up?" I sit plop down on the couch.

"Have you decided on any colleges?" he asks me as he sorts through the mail.

"I sent applications earlier in the year," I nod.

It was true, earlier in the year I already sent applications. This was way before I even met Damien. I had applied for UCLA because that's where David was going to go, I had other applications ready just in case I got turned down. I sent one to Michigan state, Hamilton University, UCR and so many more. I was stressing about college before anyone else and I honestly am grateful to have gotten it almost all over with. Now that it was already the end of the school year, I had more schools that I found out about of and I want to a try and apply there too.

I was so glad that I didn't have a hard time in school. I easily made up the work I missed. I honestly don't even know why I had to bother coming back to school, we practically already only had a month left. I already knew I would be graduating in white, I just pretty much have to show up to graduation and that's it.

"You got acceptance letters!" he sits down next to me and hands me the open mail.

"Dad! You went through my mail!" I complain.

"What! I couldn't help it," she shrugs innocently.

He was right, they were acceptance letters. I did it!

"I'm so proud of you pumpkin, I knew you would make it," he hugs me.

I was in shock. I sorta expected this to happen but when you let it sink in and you have the letter in your hands, it is something totally different.

"What do I do?" I frown when I see the other two letters.

"Dev, you don't have to choose the same one your brother chooses. It's your life, your choice. You decide and you can't let anyone else decide your future for you." he explains before kissing me on the forehead and going to the kitchen, probably to eat.

It was my choice, yes but I couldn't do that to my brother. I just couldn't. David put off going to college with a scholarship, just to go with me. If I leave him, it's like he did it all for nothing.

I shook my head and pushed those thoughts away. I had to get ready for the party and Holly would be here soon.

"See, I told you I would make you irresistible!" Holly exclaims.

"Uh..." I didn't know what to say.

The outfit was nice but it wasn't my style. I felt uncomfortable to say the least.

"Holly... I don't mean to be rude but I don't think this is me," I say nervously, afraid to hurt your feelings.
