Seconds later, my phone rang.
  "Hello? Is this Miss.. Beverly?"
"Yes? This is she. Who's this?"
"This is Officer Linda Labrinsky. Is this an acquaintance of Mr. Dean? I have some news about Mr. Dean...”
"Yes, I am his friend. What about Dean? Is he okay?"
"I'm sorry to tell you this but Mr. Dean was involved in a car accident an hour ago.
  "What?? Is h-he"
"Investigations are still going on and you can come by the police sta-"
  "Is he okay??"
"Im sorry to inform you miss, Mr. Dean was declared dead on arrival just about an hour ago,  at 11:16pm we received a phone call from the local that there was an accident involving two Volvo cars and the victims were suspected to be drunk(?)"

With those words, I dropped my phone and fell to my knees. I stare around the dark room and started screaming Dean's name frantically. I wish it was a nightmare. I'm done with nightmares in reality, I just wish it’s a bad dream after my parents 'announcement'. I ran to the door and unlock it. Mom was standing in front of the door, panicking.    "I need to get to the hospital now!"
  "What? Why? Are you hurt?"
"JUST PLEASE MOM DEAN WAS IN A CAR CRASH. He... he.. The officer said, he... he died. He's dead, mom."
My rock is dead. My favorite cello player in the world will never get touch the fret of his cello ever again. I will never forgive myself for this because I should've been with him. In that way, if he died, I'd be dead as well. There's just too much to take in for one day, I just hoped it was a nightmare.
